Ardell Magnetic Accent 001 False Eyelashes,1 Pair of Upper and Under Lashes, Light Volume, Medium Length, Vegan Friendly, (Pack of 1)

So I have seen these magnetic lashes everywhere but with so many mixed reviews so I decide to try them out myself. I purchased the 001 accents because lots of the reviews said they were easier to apply. They were a little tricky to put on at first but with maybe a half hour of practise I got them sitting super close to my lash line. I love them because they’re long but natural looking, giving the eye that fox eye look that seems to be the trend. They’re a little delicate, a couple hairs got stuck to the adhesive on the packaging so be careful when you remove them. I’m so happy with them because now I don’t need to spend lots of money on glue lashes that like to irritate my skin! These are affordable and a much better design than other companies offering the same thing for 70 dollars! Thinking of getting the 002 accents for a bolder look and trying out some of the full eye lashes!!

Its a shame because I was really excited for these and did my research, but I'll never wear these. I have slightly downturned eyes and these didn't suit my eye shape at all... even when I cut them in half I found them so difficult to put on. I wear contact lenses and have no issue getting all up in my eye but I found it really hard to apply them near my lashline. They would keep snapping together about halfway down my eyelashes and it looked so dumb. When I did finally manage to get them to apply closer to my lashline, not only did they look bad, they also really made my eyelashes ache if thats even possible. Like the weight of them made them hurt. Have never experienced this with false eyelashes or eyeliner or mascara or anything before. They are a good idea in theory but practically just don't work.

Magnetic lashes - what an excellent idea. I bought these thinking I could ditch my mascara forever, and get the same look without the gunk and damage. Unfortunately, though, this little innovation needs revision before it can get off the ground. These can still work if you're willing to modify - but they'll never be perfect and I'll explain why below. Firstly, try cutting the lower strip into segments at each magnet point and apply them individually. The magnets on the top layer will jump down when the lower strip is near, due to the magnetic pull. This is why it's so hard to get them into position, but isolating each magnet by cutting the lower strip helps a lot. Secondly, you might have to lose one of the magnets by shortening the top strip. I find that the innermost magnet when applied looks really obvious because it sits right in the middle of the eye and the lashes stop abruptly at that point. There is a very obvious difference in lash length in the middle of your eye as a result, which just looks really weird. Thirdly, the two strips together look too dense and I ended up plucking lots of the individual hairs out with some really sharp tweezers, to make them look more natural. I like the look of the single strip on its own, but the double layer is too much for day wear, and look a bit draggy. All of the above issues can be addressed with modification; however, the one issue that I feel is the biggest flaw with these is that the actual line that the lashes sit on is straight. They have been bent to sit with the general shape of the eye, but the line that the lashes are attached to NEEDS to be curved. The main reason these do not work is because the lash sits flush at the centre of the eye, but sits about a milimetre away from the eyelid at the outer edge of the eye. If seen at an angle, they look like they are floating midway down your lashes. As the natural hairs are generally more sparse in this area, this is where it really matters. My final complaint about these lashes is that the magnets on the lower strip sit underneath the lashes, meaning they are exposed and quite visible. It would make more sense if these sat on top of the lower lash strip so that they were slightly more concealed. I also think this would allow a slightly stronger hold. Disappointingly, I still need to wear mascara to put these on. They slide off too easily on naked lashes, and need a bit of definition for your inner lashes to soften the very abrupt change in length and fullness. I love the idea and I hope the design is improved to make them more wearable. I'd love these to be an everyday thing, but the above needs work before that can happen.

I like these lashes, i’ve only ever tried the accents 001, and I wear them literally every day. I’ll make some pros and cons PROS: - pretty - easy - don’t come off at all - low key, don’t look too fake - fairly cheap? idk i haven’t really bought that many eyelashes in my time, but they seem ok for how long they last - and they last weeks depending on how perfectly you want the lashes to align with each other and if you’re willing to curl them with a lash curler now and then, if you take care of them - they're intensely sexproof, always nice when it comes to makeup CONS: - sometimes when you order them they aren’t magnetic enough, you have to send them back. I order batches of ten and test out each box, I usually end up sending more than half back because the magnets are too weak for some reason - you can’t cry on them, the salt water especially mangles the lashes - normal water isn’t great either but it’s not as bad (still though, they’re not waterproof, something that makes me uncomfortable) - you can’t sleep on them (something i wish they could handle bc of how well they do stay on if you forgot they were there when you sleep) because the shape changes - after a while the lashes start to go in weird directions and lose their shape, i couldn’t say for sure but the longest a pair lasted was a month. if you keep it totally away from water it’s more chill but that’s not always possible if you want to not be some weirdo that’s too scared to mess up their makeup for anything (something i had to force myself to avoid haha) - i’m gonna mention how some you buy just don’t work well enough because it’s so irritating and i feel like this could put some people off if they’re not aware that stronger ones are out there, i only ever had one pair that had such strong magnets it scared me and i was so sad when i cried with them in because i knew they would be difficult to come across again. still, about half of them are fine, half aren’t. just order a few and send them back, the return process isn’t much hassle at all, just be very careful and clean with them when you test their strength out i guess. in terms of technique when you put them on, i find taking the bottom strip first, placing it on the whites of your eyes underneath your lash line (avoid your iris because that hurts, obviously), then place the other strip ontop of your eyelid with the other hand (both hands should be holding the lashes) then kind of squeeze each magnet together, and they should be so close to your lash line that often the skin on your eyelid gets pinched by the magnets and you have to almost pull the lashes outwards. play around with how far left/right you like them on your eyes, and yeah job done really. I wear lots of mascara with them and they literally never come off. I like strong magnets mostly for ease of application, even the slightly weak magnets seem to just stick around there, they don’t move at all. if you’re squeamish about eye stuff then i wouldn’t recommend these i suppose. but all round i can’t survive without them anymore. I love them. and you should love them too. do it. buy some. they’re great. :)

These lashes are a GAME-CHANGER. Please if your struggling or hesitant dont give up or be worried cause of the other reviews. Yes at first u struggled with them and was frustrated, but then I watched a few YouTube tutorials and got some tips and was able to use them with ease the next day. They are so handy and so quick and easy once you get the hang of it, you just need the right technique and a small bit of practice but as someone who spends too long doing mascara and who cant do normal false lashes to save their life, these are just a miracle for me! Not noticable straight on or if your wearing a bit of black mascara but really makes you look more put together. Not heavy looking either, just wispy. Will definitely be buying more styles :D they're also much cheaper to buy online vs places like boots where they're over €20! Here are some tips for anyone who is struggling: 1. Bend the lashes into an arch and wiggle them around like that for a while so that the band will stay curved instead of straight. Make sure that the bottom and top are attached when you do this so each lash has the same curvature. This will help get them as close to the lash line as possible. 2. Curl your eyelashes and/or apply some clear mascara or alternatively a light coat for regular mascara, dont go overboard or it will look weird and wont blend with the false lashes. This will help the top lash sit in place when you are trying to apply the bottom one. 3. Place the to lash as close to your lash line as possible, quickly get the bottom lash trying not to move your eye too much. Tilt your head up, line the magnets up but dont bring it too close to your eye until you're ready to connect them, then focusing on one corner (outer or inner) stick it as close to your waterline as possible, almost simultaneously connecting the others with a pushing in motion. (It's most important to focus on the ends when you're doing this, as the middle magnets generally will follow.) 4. You have to do step 3 very fast or you'll end up with a a big gap like they are hovering or else one corner will be in well and the other hanging off your natural lashes. So just slot them in very fast and push them in towards your lash line as you do so. If it's a small bit gappy you can always adjust the bottom set by looking up and pulling the magnets closer in. I was really excited to use these and knew it would take some practice to put on right. However i just cant seem to get them on properly despite following the instructions carefully. I will keep trying but as they look nice and i'm not a fan of glue on lashes, but right now I am not finding them worth the money as I can't even use them

Nightmare to use and even after hours of trying you could still see the join/magnets up close. They did not fit well to the lash line therefore if one end fitted, the other end would sit 2-3mm away from the lash line. I bought two pairs and they were both the same. So disappointed as i really wanted to love these but for me they were a waste of money.

These are simple to apply and brilliant quality. They fit better than standard length lashes so not cutting required, the magnets are strong and the lashes won’t budge even in extreme winds

These are amazing. They take a little time to get placement right. It’s getting easier each time I wear them. You can get multiple uses out of one set. I have deep set hooded eyes and these have made my eyes look better!! I do the top first then lift lid and get bottom section as close as I can. If they are on correctly they are comfortable.

Nach meiner dauerhaften Wimpernverlängerung, die ich nach wenigen Monaten leider durch eine allergischen Reaktion entfernen lassen musste, brauchte ich einen Ersatz um meine Wimpern erneut erstrahlen zu lassen und da bin ich auf diese Wimpern von Ardell gestoßen. Sie halten ohne das irgendeine Art von Kleber verwendet werden muss nur an Hand von kaum auffallenden Magneten. Sie sind super für jeden Anlass und können mehrfach verwendet werden. Zudem Schaden sie nicht den eigenen Wimpern und lösen auch keine allergische Reaktion aus. Eine riesen Empfehlung meinerseits, sie sind zu meinem Alltagsbegleitern geworden.

Ils sont très beaux mais très fins et pas très qualitatifs donc ils s'abîment vite au bout de quelques utilisations. C'était aussi plutôt compliqué d'arriver à les aimanter parfaitement.

Very beautiful on reality and looks natural definitely will buy it again!
