I have a hard case but this Fits impulse t7 controller perfectly n it's very light

Firm-sided case protects contents very well but is not a traditional "hard case."
This case may have been designed to fit a Rane One DJ set and controller but it can be used for other objects too. In my case, I'm using it to store multiple tubular lights that I use in my photography business. Now, instead of having to carry the four lights individually, I have them all protected in this well built single case.The firm-sided case is very well built and protects its contents well but it's not technically a "hard case" which would have rigid walls made of a very hard molded plastic or possibly aluminum or plywood that fully protects its contents from any impact damage. Instead, this case has semi-rigid walls made out of molded EVA with a water-resistant polyester exterior shell which will compress if you push on it firmly.Don't get me wrong, this is a very nice case with semi-rigid walls that protects its contents well. I just wouldn't call it a hard case. A firm case would be more accurate.
