Excellent product. Makes Google home portable. Looks good. Excellent value.

Like others, the unit was dead upon arrival. Clearly the batteries are unable to charge since they're so old. I didn't want to open up a product that I had just bought and jump boost the batteries. And to top it off, the thing has to go back to the US (I'm in the UK) for a refund when and possibly if they receive it. Bit of a scam on Amazon's behalf there since I paid Amazon.Complete waste of time.

Great product and gives Google home the portability to be moved from room to room and even the garden (if WiFi reaches)

I purchased this battery pack so I could use my Google home in my garage that only has solar power for my lights. Unfortunately when it arrived like many others have said mine was dead on arrival and would not charge. Basically these are only stock and the blackberry phone batteries used inside them are totally drained. I followed the review that instructed me how to charge one of the blackberry cells manually. 2 hours later and the unit was fully charged and fully operational. Well chuffed with overall solution. Portable google home and blue tooth speaker for less than the cost of a cheap Bluetooth speaker

Unfortunately it has to be charged using the original power cord. This would be fine and charges fine but it is awkward to pull the power cord out when wanting to use it powered by the battery not the mains. The google power cord has not been made to keep being removed from the unit. I fear my power cord may end up unusable after constant use. The battery really needs to come with an optional extension lead to plug the google power cord into rather than straight into the bottom of the unit.Update (15/03/2020): The battery has died. I would not purchase this product again.

Does what it says on the box and does it very well.Only thing missing is wireless charging so you don't have to fiddle with the cord when you want to take the speaker with you.

This is brilliant. Perhaps a little tricky to detach from the cord sometimes but I'm sure that'll wear in.This does, however, fix the obvious and fundamental problem with the Google Home - no battery for portability.Now I can take my Home to the garden, for example, or any other room I like within WiFi range.Tip: No Wifi? Set your phone hotspot to the same credentials as your home Wifi and tether. Then you can go ANYWHERE!8 hour battery life was, I thought, optimistic, but I've manged to get over 9 out of it the other week at a BBQ.Best accessory for the Home I ever got!

Great idea but didn’t work on arrival and when trying to return they want me to pay for postage to the US to return which would be more than I paid so it’s just gone in the bin.

Esta base le da un mejor aspecto al Google Home además de que te permite por lo menos 4 horas de independencia del enchufe.

Passt genau und wackelt nicht!! Das dunkle carbonfarbige Lautsprechergitter sieht so aus, wie erwartet. Wirkt nicht billig und passt gut zum Google Home. Habe mich extra gegen die Copper- und weiße Version entschieden, da ich bei denen mehr Bedenken in Richtung billigem Look hatte. Kann aber natürlich nichts dazu bewerten, denn die habe ich nicht tatsächlich gesehen. Bin nun mit der Carbonversion sehr zufrieden. Der Akku und die Hülle haben eine gute, offensichtlich wertige Qualität. Die Akkulaufzeit muss noch geprüft werden, aber kabelloser Einsatz schon mal möglich. Update: Akkulaufzeit betrug 6 Std. Zum Ende hin fängt die Akkustatusanzeige an zu blinken.
