If you mean just while in traffic, yes as long as the engine is running. **Q: when do you put it in?empty tank or anytime** A: It states to wait until tank is nearly empty then add immediately (ie at Petrol station and without starting the engine) before filling with approx 40-80 litres of diesel per full 430ml of additive. I used half in 40 litres **Q: Is it recommended for EGR cleaning ?** A: Not sure if it cleans EGR But works incredibly great for turbo,DPF,and cat , best on market does what it says **Q: How often can it be used as i do 600 mile a week and first one made a difference** A: It takes probably around 10 to 20 thousand miles for the carbon to build up in places like the EGR (exhaust gas recirculation valve ) if yours has never had this treatment you will have possibly noticed a difference before and after?
