After Bite X-Tech Bug Bite Itch Relief, Fast-Acting, New X Applicator, 4Pk

I’ve tried quite a few different bug bite treatments over the years, from creams to sprays and other pens, but I always seem to come back to After Bite. It’s one of those products that I keep buying because it consistently works for me. Whenever I get a mosquito bite or some other itchy bug bite, I apply this and usually get relief pretty quickly. It’s easy to use, doesn’t take up much space, and is convenient to keep in a bag, medicine cabinet, or travel kit. I’ve experimented with other brands thinking I might find something better, but this is still the one I reach for the most. It’s become a staple in our house, especially during all of our warm and sometimes humid months worth every penny. Definitely buying more in the future!

AfterBite is the only reason I don't walk around looking like I lost a fight to a swarm! Living in a high-humidity city means we’re constantly fending off fire ants, mosquitos, and biting gnats (no-see-ums) for about 10 months out of the year. Bug bites happen. The regular liquid formula has a strong ammonia smell and can sting a bit if the skin is broken, so we reserve the cream for delicate spots. Personally, I’m loyal to the liquid formula for everywhere but my face. It’s fast-acting and incredibly effective. Within 2 minutes, the itch is gone. By 15 minutes, the swelling is noticeably reduced (see photo of my wrist with a fresh bite). At 20 minutes, the redness fades and the bite is barely visible. By 30 minutes, it’s like it never happened. This product has saved me countless nights of discomfort and days of irritation. Do not sniff this because it’s made with ammonia. Very strong smell. I put it on a bite and it helped to cut back on the itching but it did not relieve it completely. I put it on a few more times and every time I feel itch, I put a little bit on. It has prevented me from scratching my bites open. it’s nice to have four of them also. I can have one in my car one in my suitcase one at home. Very convenient.

I used to make an “x” with my finger nails on mosquito bites years ago and now someone has taken my idea a step further! Ammonia is listed in the “other ingredients” and that’s a good thing. The company was forced by the FDA to remove it from the “active ingredient” list but it works great on bites. So you get a bigger bang for your buck now. All the ingredients that take away the itch, and an applicator with a raised plastic “x” shape to push into the bite which really works. I thought I came up with that idea alone but i wasn’t alone. What a surprise! No more finger nail impressions! This product really works. Highly recommended!
