Real Birch leaves were picked from the tree and 24k Gold plated. This is carefully done to preserve all of the detail in the leaf like its veins and edges. The leaf was given a thick gold coating making it strong and durable.

Pretty, chunky earrings.
Nice product, fairly chunky and weighty jewellery. I imagined from the photograph prior to purchasing that they would be longer and more delicate than they are, you can't see many of the lines of the leaves and they are not as refined as I initially thought.. The back hook is very small (the piece that goes in the ear) so I bought some earring stops to go on them as they do slip out of the ear easily. They are pretty.
