Green & Wilds ChewRoots - Large

The media could not be loaded. At last, a toy that my weimaraner puppy has not chewed to smithereens, yet continues to chew & play with some weeks after buying it. Phew! All the plastic/ rubber dog toys have been demolished, seemingly dangerously so, and now that he had started to chew not just branches & sticks (the trainer says this is dangerous, our local vet is handling a stick piercing through the roof of the mouth EVERY WEEK) but even the corner of the wooden dining room table - enough was enough. I read about these on a weimaraner blog and ordered a large one worried that it would be too big for him to carry. Actually, he is thrilled to just about be able to pick it up and stagger across the room to it, and likes to take it into his crate (lair) and chew hungrily on it. He can gets bits off it but very slowly. It doesn't occupy him for hours but he will have a go every day for a while. Great buy!

Our rotty pup is nearly 8 months old now has a very impressive set of teeth! She loves this chewroot, for the first couple of days she carried it around with her everywhere. She’s quite happy settling down with this in front of the fire and chewing for a couple of hours at a time. Well worth the money. No splinters or worrying bits coming off, much safer than the plastic toys for “powerful chewers” she’s had previously. When this one gets worn down I’ll be buying her another. I reckon we’ll get a couple of months at least from this one.Update Feb 2020: the chewroot is still going! About half the size it was bit still usable. Minor miracle.

My 2 GSDs love them, they last which is also a major bonus.My only comment is when they are new don’t let your dogs chew them on your light coloured carpet!The marks do come out but it’s super annoying 🙈

10 month old doberman , thought this might be a good alternative to her chewing my settee. She sort of likes it but seems a bit unsure.I'm going to persevere and keep giving to her.It's very hard , I thought at first it was going to splinter everywhere but it's holding its shape.It's possible she is just a bit young and easily distracted for this

When this arrived it was big! and it is also quite heavy. My dog does enjoy chewing it and it's showing little sign of being chewed. They're expensive but I feel it will last a long time

This product is fantastic, it has lasted and lasted and my Leonburger cross still is still interested in it. I can see this toy being around for years. I would definitely recommend. It doesn't splinter, and she loves it. I bought it when she was teething and had started chewing the door frame, she's never done it since shes had this ChewRoot.

fast delivery, product looks good. My dog takes a while to get into decent chew toys, she started on this one today. She is only interested if I get on the floor with her and hold the root, same with previous Nylabones too, not sure who is in charge here. I am please with the purchase, I think it will last quite a while.

It’s not messy or dirty and bits don’t break off when chewed so dog can bring it indoors. The dog loves it
