The Beginner's Bible 365 Devotions for Kids

My 3-year old loves when we read through this devotional book. We skip around some but the lessons are simple, yet effective. It pairs great with The Beginner’s Bible. A great way to discover God’s Word for children!

Great children’s devotional I love that it tells the Bible story in a way children can understand it each day!

My kids enjoy reading this Bible together or by themselves. It is easy for them to read and understand. It makes explaining and talking about the Bible easier when they have pictures also. I would recommend!

I read this to my three year old and she loves it! We read this alongside the little bible from the same author. It’s great! It has the verse from the Bible and then a small reflection, that the kids can understand. It also comes with a small prayer.

I bought this for my very active 3 year old son, wanting to start him out in a small act of worship daily. This is perfect for that, as the devotionals are short and to the point. They are all age appropriate and introduce Biblical ideas quickly and efficiently, building on each day's lesson. I do feel my son is learning the basics and a little more each day.

My daughter loves watching the Beginner’s Bible cartoons. I purchased this devotional since the interest and excitement was already present, and thought it would help us to enjoy the Bible together. Not even 30 days in, I became hesitant to share from it anymore. But, first, I’ll start with the pros. -It engages children well. -It is short and thought provoking. -It includes a sentence of scripture on each page. -It includes a small prayer related to the topic. That being said, I was uncomfortable with the language used to describe some of the concepts. A lot of feeling words were used, such as: “God was angry and very disappointed. God had to teach them that they need to follow the rules. And so Adam and Eve had to leave the Garden. This made Adam and Eve sad.” and… “So many people were not following God. God was sad that he had even created humans! He had been so happy with them. He had said they were good! But no more. He decided that something had to be done to fix things on earth.” There’s many things I can point out, but I think the examples speak for themselves. At the end of the day, hearing scripture, God’s word, and the core concepts are always a plus. If you have an inquisitive kiddo though, I’d skip this one due to the suggestive language.

We read this as breakfast every morning and my son asks to read about “Jesus” every day now. So cute! Very digestible and easy to understand.

Very simple to read but yet still great life lessons to teach with. I originally bought it to help me teach my 4 yr old son, but in all actuality, it has been a staple product for me as well. Buy it, you wont regret it. Its definitely a book I feel all parents especially Christian parents should have.

This is a perfect gift for kids. My kids like this books and we get to do devotional every night because of this.
