I alway count on Oxo for exceptional design but they messed up with this. Will be returning and buying a different brand. Updated: I ended up keeping this. At first the sponge fell off a few times but that hasn't been happening anymore. I was even able to successfully use a sponge designed for the pervious version of this product. My opinion has changed and I no recommend this version.

Good Grips soap dispenser and washer is a fantastic combination. Just keep the soap dispenser full and it makes cleaning dishes a breeze. The extra soap in the dispenser allows for quick clean of a special place or spare soap to get something an extra cleaning power. Much easier than getting the container of soap. Just keep the soap dispenser full and you control the amount of soap used; cuts the grease real quick. My motto is “Keep it Simple”.

The old design worked like a champ. With this new design the sponge falls off while washing dishes. The clip to hold the brush on is too small. At first the sponge fell off a few times but that hasn't been happening anymore. I was even able to successfully use a sponge designed for the pervious version of this product. My opinion has changed and I no recommend this version.

This has become my favorite dish washer; however, it has to be replaced after a year or two, it does wear out... I replace the pads frequently also, every 3 months...
