Water Bottle - Insulated Stainless Steel - Wide Straw Lid, Non Spill, Leakproof in 24 Oz Indigo Blue

I've gone through a graveyard of cheap plastic bottles and leaky tumblers over the years, so I finally decided to bite the bullet and invest in a Hydro Flask. I picked up the 24 oz in Indigo Blue with the Wide Mouth Straw Lid, and honestly? I get the hype now. Here is the breakdown of my experience after using it daily for a few weeks: The Temperature (It's actually wild): The insulation is the real deal. I'm someone who needs my water ice cold. I filled this thing with ice and water at 8 AM before work, and by the time I was driving home at 6 PM, the ice was still clinking around inside. I haven't tested it with hot coffee because I don't like drinking hot stuff through a straw, but for cold water, it's a beast. The Straw Lid & The Seal: This was my biggest worry. I've had straw bottles before that leak if you so much as look at them the wrong way. The Seal: It is genuinely leakproof when closed. I can toss this in my passenger seat or into my gym bag, and as long as that nozzle is snapped shut, not a drop comes out. The seal around the threads is tight, too. Easy to Drink: The flow rate is perfect. You don't have to suck like you're trying to get a thick milkshake through a tiny straw, but it doesn't drown you either. It's silent, too—no weird squeaking or whistling noises when you sip. Build Quality & Color: The "Indigo Blue" is beautiful in person: deep, rich navy that looks professional but not boring. The powder-coat finish feels slightly textured, making it super easy to grip, even when your hands are sweaty from the gym. It feels solid, not tinny or fragile. Fit & Usability: The 24 oz size is the "Goldilocks" size for me. Fit: It fits perfectly in my car's cup holder (a huge win, since my 32 oz bottles never did). It also slides easily into the side pocket of my backpack. Easy to Use: The little flexible loop handle on the lid is surprisingly handy. I can hook it onto a carabiner or carry it with one finger while my hands are full of groceries. The Honest Truth (Cons) There are two minor things to know: Denting: It's stainless steel, so if you drop it on concrete, it will dent. I learned this the hard way with an older bottle. Treat it with a little care, or get a silicone boot for the bottom. Cleaning: The straw lid takes a little more effort to clean than a simple screw cap. You really need a little straw cleaner brush to get in there and keep it sanitary. Verdict: If you are on the fence, get it. It's durable, it fits in your car, it doesn't leak, and having cold water available literally 24/7 has actually made me drink more water. Highly recommend.

Keeps drinks cold all day. Straw lid is convenient and doesn’t leak when closed. Fits cup holders in my car. Durable finish, no scratches after a few weeks. A little heavier than plastic bottles, but that’s expected with stainless steel.

I dehydrate quickly, so probably drink 3 times more liquids than most, so carry this flask around ALL THE TIME, and yes all around the world! (just need to show it's empty at TSA). Add a few ice cubes and and sparking water and they last all day. I like the top with the strap so I can easily carry it around, as my fingers are too big to fit into the other top that has a finger loop. I've tried other water bottles, but this seems to work the best.

It keeps fluids cold even when it is hot outside and is kept in the car (I live in FL) where the temp can get well over 100F. The outside of the flask will get hot but despite that, the water is cold. The only thing that I don't like is that is sometimes leaks a little fluid even when tightened. The leaking comes from the spot where the straw is attached. It's not all the time, just sometimes and I cannot figure out why it does or does not do it. So, I did take a star off for that. I also like the carry handle that can easily grab onto to carry the bottle when I have to. It does get a little heavy when completely filled but it's not bad at all.

I love this brand. This particular model did not work well in my car, otherwise I would have kept.

This one gets 5 stars but only because the right item was in the box. The first one we received had someone's disgusting dirty water bottle inside the box. Imaging all of our faces when my husband opened that one on Christmas morning. We all had a good laugh. But you can't go wrong with Hydro Flask, if that is what you get!

This is my second Hydro Flask and it has the same quality that I’ve experienced. The build of the flask is solid and doesn’t dent easily unless you’ve been careless and dropped it on rugged terrains, both of my flasks have yet to be dented. I chose the navy version for this flask because my first flask was white and any dirt could be seen more easily (but easy to clean). Heat retention is good but I haven’t used it during really cold weather so I’m not sure how well it would hold up in those conditions but they do retain heat and cool drinks for a good amount of time from my experience. The straw feature of this flask is very handy, my previous Hydro Flask only had a standard screw lid so I had to purchase a straw lid - No need for that this time as it came with the straw lid and also a handle incorporated with the design of the lid. Overall, I love the colour, the feel and quality of this Hydro Flask. I would recommend!
