Although apparently properly sealed and nothing was obviously wet, oily or oiled-stained, the bottle and its packaging all smelled strongly of lavender and suggestive of a possible leak. The level of liquid within the bottle is about 1 cm below the bottom of its cap/spray mechanism and any loss is likely to be very small. The fragrance is strong and very definitive of lavender - some varieties have a very slight fragrance and are only grown as garden plants, having no additional commercial value.Ordered and used primarily as a pillow spray and sleep aid for a few days following a small number of independent recommendations on different media sources that confirm a far earlier recommendation by a close friend that was then ignored; spraying a little lavender oil or lavender water an the edges of your pillow can help induce sleep in a natural way. Similar claims are made for other floral and citrus-like extracts, but lavender is that most commonly involved.Personal experience since the beginnings of the Covid-19 outbreak and the many and frequently changing restrictions and limitations that followed has included a significant number of totally sleepless nights, many more that were either disturbed in some way and often resulting in just 3-4 hours' sleep per night and only a few where 6 or 7 hours was achieved. Conversations with others has shown that to be a very common experience for people of all ages. reasons given by some include issues including financial, employment, family and relationships, social and, not least, bereavement of friends, relatives, work colleagues, or neighbours but also for some, and only within the past few months, (@ mid-May 2021) concerns or fears about vaccination. The latter was never a personal concern.This product was to help increase the hours of sleep achieved, perhaps not daily but often. While it appeared to be of some early benefit, that impression was minimal and was followed on the third day by waking during the night for a comfort visit and a failure to sleep upon return; the total amount of sleep obtained was less than three hours!Initially, two quick pumps were used and increased by one nightly with the intent of finding a suitable level of fragrance without soaking the pillow, a full night's sleep was experienced but after the third that had ceased and far fewer hours were experienced. While it may benefit some, its abilities may be apocryphal and based upon personal belief and willingness to accept the principle. It will be used as a room spray, possibly also on bedding but future expectations of its benefits are low.

Grapefruit one smelt really musty - it was a sealed bottle with a plug so I can only assume it’s not one that suits my nose!
