Ease of setup for Android Auto and mirrors my phone very well
The media could not be loaded. I have a 2019 Dodge Promaster van. It has a radio that allows Bluetooth pairing with my phone and I can make and answer calls through it, but it doesn't have a satellite radio option and doesn't support Waze or Google maps. I looked around for a simple screen-mirroring device that I could use with my Google Pixel phone and came upon the Spedal CL 786.It has a 7" screen, which is large enough and is a simple unit that doesn't possess a front-facing camera (I wouldn't want such a feature anyway). It connected with my phone very easily and I can use Waze or Google maps while simultaneously listening to satellite radio or making a receiving calls, with no connecting cable between my phone and the unit (which is something my more sophisticated Honda Accord radio unit can't do as it needs to connect with my phone via a cable in order for Android Auto features to work). The unit can be also connected via radio or by a 3.5mm cord which comes with the unit, but I don't need those features. The included power charger also has at its end a USB charging port for your phone, so you can run and power your phone and the unit from one "cigarette lighter"-type port. The only negative to the unit is the suction-cup attachment that come with it. It's not the best at gripping the dashboard, but as you can see from the video, I've set it up such that the front of the Spedal is resting on the dashboard, so it now stays in place. Also, as you can see from the video, I'm using the Waze driving app while listening to satellite radio, so, up to this point, the unit has pleased me.I've only been using the unit since July 15, 2024, and my current opinion may change as time goes by, but for now, its an easy-to-use device that does exactly what I want it to do. If you're in the market for a unit like this, I'd certainly recommend this one.

perfect solution to retain factory radio and add Android Auto
Put this in a Ram pickup and it works great, while still retaining the ability to manipulate vehicle settings through the factory radio. I knew that in order to retain or improve factory sound I'd have to drop $100s more on an expensive head unit. I don't daily the truck, so couldn't justify it for camping trips.Startup is as quick as any other wireless Android Auto devices I've used. Screen is bright and responsive. I really only use it for handsfree Google maps and music scrolling, with no complaints.4 stars, as I used the dash mount, rather than the suction mount thinking it would be sturdier. There's some vibration of the unit over normal bumps and dips in the road. The mounting to the dash is solid, but where the unit meets the mount has some play in it that can't be tightened.

Update your car without changing your radio!
I have a very well kept 83 Ford Ranger. It still has the factory radio. I didn't want to cut the dash in order to install a modern head unit. And I wanted something with Android Auto. That's where this portable unit came in. I love that it can transmit audio on FM. It lets me use the stock radio and speakers to listen to music from my phone. I use blue tooth to connect to the unit and the unit connects to my radio with FM. It works surprisingly well. I've left it out in the car during summer heat and winter cold and so far it's been working great.

I don’t know really
It doesn’t pair to watch your streaming sites without mirroring your phone!

Thin and lightweight!
The media could not be loaded. Great little android auto unit to bring some modern comfort to your old car. Has a matte screen unlike some other units, which i love. Very thin and lightweight, which is good because it prevents sagging on the mount. Pairs to your phone easily enough, in order to 3-way pair between your phone, head unit, and this unit you may need to tinker with it, or just go simple and run an aux cord for your audio. Comes with plenty of mounting options, but I like to put it on a weighted dash pad, that way i can take it with me, or hide it if im in a sketchy area.
