just what i needed.... get's hot enough

This heats up nicely, but there's no good way to wear it since you have to velcro it around your neck. It ends up sitting oddly on your next unless you somehow tape it in the correct spot. I also found the velcro less than stellar. It doesn't stick well at all, making it even more difficult to keep in place.

There was little heat coming from the pad and the Velcro didn’t hold. If you have a larger neck these would not fit. It was attractive but just didn’t work out for me

Likes: Great packaging, portable, disposable, started to warm straight out of the package, unscented (no menthol/medicine smell).Dislike: Flawed design - I understand this warmer is meant to provide a gentle warm steam to the neck. Unfortunately, no matter how much I fiddled with it I could not get it to sit right so I could feel the heat. Easy to use, air activated, heats fast, great amount of heat for quick pain relief. Designed to use on neck for single use. Simple little Velcro tab fine for staying on if you aren’t moving a lot. Was still hot when I took it off 4 hours later.

I found these neck wraps to warm up well and quickly. They lasted for quite some time too, which is exceptional and far exceeds what you Joe get with a microwaveable wrap. I love that it heats up without having to do anything, making these fantastic for travel and for keeping in the car first aid kit. They have some weight to them, which is both good and bad as it may be uncomfortable for some people, and given this is designed specifically for neck pain, this is a consideration that needs to be made. I like the weight as I feel like it helps push it up against the skin. The material covering is nice and soft. I had troubles getting it to fit properly on my neck. I tried multiple positions but found it a bit cumbersome. Would I recommend these? Maybe, but you’d need another way to fasten this to your neck.

I could get it to mostly fit me for the heat. Sitting in a recliner allowed it to sit perfectly.The heat is nearly instant when you open it. I used a relatively accurate digital thermometer around the 10 minute mark and it was 115.3... which is exactly what the description says and kind of impressive. Might have got a little warmer after that too.

I had such a hard time trying to make this warmer work. I tried to adjust for tightness but the velcro can only go so far so it's loose and doesn't sit right for me to feel the heat. The best way I found to make it work is to not use the velcro at all and put it under my clothing. I also have to be laying down so I can put pressure on it to feel the heat.It actually generates a good amount of heat and can be comfortable once you find a position to keep it in place. The heat lasted for a good length of time. I kept trying to fidget with it for about an hour.This could have been a great, relaxing warmer but the design needs to be modified to be more practical.
