Great water socks for Ironman Arizona swim course.
Giving these a 5 star because they worked great for what I bought them for and were well worth the price. I did Ironma Arizona November 2018. All the reviews of that race that I read suggested to get water socks. The race rules are that you can use water socks if the water temps are below 64 (I believe), and so I was able to use them for IMAZ2018. The water was 58deg. These water socks helped keep my toes/feet from locking up. It was very cold on race morning and they actually worked great for keeping my feet warm while I waited near the swim start area. Also helped keep my feet from getting cut or hurt from the loose gravel areas and worked great for the swim exit. My feet still got a little cold during the swim, but I know they made a difference. I pulled them up as far up my calves as I could and then rolled my wetsuit over them as a way of overlapping to keep them from moving. Water gets in them regardless but your body heat warms that water. I was worried that they might cause too much drag or feel weird during the swim but they were snug and worked great. I don't kick a ton during the swim course anyways to help reserve legs for bike and run. If you are going to do Arizona or another cold swim course race, I definitely recommend these. I liked being able to feel my toes the entire time while I was on the bike and it's due to these awesome water socks!

Not cheap but they fit perfectly
These are the perfect liners for neoprene farm chore boots, they prevent blisters and give the needed extra warmth in the winter. Occasionally the boots get a small splash of water in them and using these as liners means your feet stay dry and comfortable. I throw them in the washing machine and they come out like new. They fit great and I bought a second pair right away. Wish they cost a little less but sometimes you don't mind paying more for something you like. They are holding up fine. When they start to wear out I will consider buying again.

A little on the loose side.
I gave these 4 stars because they're great and would order again.HOWEVER, next time I'll order down a size.I wear a size 11 shoe and ordered the medium. They fill with water pretty quickly. (Not losing buoyancy)I do like how they're long enough to tuck under my wetsuit leg and they stay in place, they're comfy and keep my feet plenty warm in 45°-50° water.

Too long in the toe and too loose everywhere; NO GOOD for ladies size 8
I wear a ladies size 8. I purchased a small for use alone and under my wetsuit. They are ok for use with the wetsuit, but they are insufficiently loose , they allow too much water in when worn alone. In such cases, they have little use, except if you want to add drag. My twin purchased the TYR swim socks. Although the TYR socks are not as thick, they are much, much tighter and are useful to wear, even without a wetsuit Perhaps Synergy could manufacture a sock that fits ladies' feet.

Great fit, waterproof, comfortable
I guess it is obvious that it is waterproof as it is neoprene, but this is a nice set of booties. I use these when rowing, as we can't wear shoes, and lake water has a LOT of goose . . . "poo" in it, and often people don't wet-broom the dock before we carry the boat down. I like the non-slip traction pattern on the bottom. Just a solid choice in booties. Nothing new technologically. Tough, tear resistant, and warm. Easy to clean as well.

Will keep feet warm, but will also fill and bloat with water even wearing a wetsuit
I purchased these booties for a cold water triathlon swim, but after multiple tests, decided I was better off to not use these boots. In practice, the socks kept my feet snug, warm and comfortable while using with a wetsuit covering the tops of the boots. The downside of this product is the socks fill with water over time while swimming, creating a balloon effect that made me "slower" as I swam and heavy when trying to walk/ run on land. Using rubber bands to snug the tops down helped, but really should not be necessary. The ballooning effect is disappointing and I will not recommend this as a solution for anyone wanting to use this for a race (go fast). If speed does not matter and only being warm does, this product is sufficient.

Sooo comfortable!! Great design!
I used these as soon as I received them for open water swim training in a very cold alpine lake for an upcoming event and I loved them!! They were easy to slip on (I recommend putting them under your wetsuit) and they felt like I was wearing slippers! I got the small (I wear size 8.5 women’s shoe) and they fit perfect. Highly recommend these booties for cold swims, makes for a more comfortable swim and easier to have warm feet for running to T1.
