Recently purchased to replace an old office chair for long sessions in front of the computer. Assembly instructions were fairly poor - as has been noted by other reviewers - such as neglecting to mention that certain bolts did not come in the packet containing the fixings but were instead already screwed into one of the pieces.. but it was all fairly obvious and everything went together quickly and with no need for a second pair of hands.First impressions are good - the chair is a lot firmer than the one it replaced but am finding it very comfortable indeed - especially for long periods - no doubt the extra support and the shape are contributing to this. I haven't found the need to use the pair of cushions that are supplied, as found it more comfortable without.There are couple of adjustments that can be made to the seating position - the height range is adequate, the angle of the back to the base adjusts much like a reclining car seat and locks securely into position. Additionally you can "unlock" the base from its flat position parallel to the floor and the whole thing (base and back together) can be tilted back freely - however there is no facility to lock this in place when partly tilted - it either moves freely or is locked in un-tilted position.The arms are quite well designed - they adjust in height and forward/back position as well as being able to be angled - although it is worth mentioning that the angle lock doesn't prevent them from moving if you were to push against them to maneuver yourself in the seat for example. I'd also say they are the weak point in the finishing of the chair - being plastic - compared to the smart faux leather of the chair itself. They don't detract massively from what is an otherwise excellent chair, but they could definitely be improved for future versions. They are wide and flat enough to test-fit a Saitek X52 hotas to using tie-wraps, though I'm going to look into whether a spare set of arms could be purchased to make a more permanent modification to...In summary, having had the chair around a month, am very pleased with the purchase so far - is night and day difference in terms of comfort when sitting for extended periods of time, even easy to fall asleep in when reclined. An easy 5/5 for comfort. Build quality is also 5 star, aside from the arms to which I'd have to give a 4 - so would have no hesitation recommending this chair or buying another like it in future.Update - now approaching 9 years old and still going strong! The only fault worth mentioning is that the strut could use replacing as it will gradually (over a few hours) lose height under load. No rips/tears/other material fails and it's been used daily since purchase in 2015. Love it!

I spend a lot of time sat at my computer, playing games, watching tv, working, and much more, the need for a chair that has ample support and is comfortable is a must.I've always been hesitant to spend this amount of money on a chair, however I decided to take the plunge as my old chair was getting very close to complete failure and I use it a lot, so it would make sense to make sure i'm comfortable at all times while in it.building the chair took around 30-40 minutes on my own, its very well built and the weight just screams quality as soon as you take delivery of the house this chair comes packaged in.The chair comes with 2 cushions, one for the lower back and one as a headrest, i've elected not to use these as they don't feel good while i'm sat on the chair, different people may feel different, however they aren't to my tastes.Aesthetically, the chair looks very well made, sturdy and comfortable. the stitching is very well done and i feel like this chair will stand up longer than my old chair has.i stand at around 5'11 and this chair is for want of a better phrase a perfect fit my head sits right at the top of the chair itself, with maybe an inch or two of the top of my head poking over the top.The armrests are awesome in of themselves, they have 4 adjustments, side to side, up and down, forwards and backwards and rotation on each side. this can be done by way of three buttons on each arm rest, the rotation is done by simply using a touch of force to move them to the desired position.All tools are included so you wont need anything else to put this chair together, it's all in the box.What sets this chair apart from others i have used is the tilt of the back of the chair is seperate from the base. you move the back and only the back moves. the base stays stationary, you can obviously adjust the height of the chair as well.You can purchase locking castors for this chair and I would be lying if i said i wasnt dissapointed they didn't come with the chair, but the castors that come with the chair are sturdy and move easily when required, but stay still when you dont want to move.well worth the price of nearly £200. If you have Amazon Prime take note of which chair is currently on prime. When i was first shopping around for a new chair, the Black and Yellow was on prime, when i came to purchase, the solid black was on prime, not a big issue, I like the look of each colour variation of the chair. but be mindful that unless you are purchasing now through prime, when you come to purchase, the chair you want may not be on prime and it may be a different colour configuration.
