Makes ironing a pleasure (which is always for me!!).
I love to iron - anything. I love fabrics - all of them. Each fabric has it's own tolerance for heat and moisture. The right tool is essential to achieve the desired result - a smooth finish and be certain the fabric will not be damaged. Because I'm so particular about results I want the right tool. In twenty years the eureka is my third iron. The other two just quit after many years of great service. I looked at many options and for my reasons I chose the eureka. This iron is lightweight and the soleplate easily glides over all fabrics. Temperature control is spot on. All settings and options work to my needs. So glad I bought the eureka. I know I'll have many years of happy ironing.

loved using the iron
Just used it today. When I initially started to iron, it dripped. Yes, the power indicator light was off which meant the temperature was obtained. The dripping ceased after a while. The rest of my ironing went smoothly..loved using the iron. Powerful steaming. With one swipe the Cotton article was smooth. Need to be careful of the steam since it is very hot. Makes ironing enjoyable.

Deliveres as advertised
Absolutely great. I bought two irons this and a cheaper sunbeam. This iron does exactly as it advertises. I first used it to iron a damask tablecloth and it wiped out the wrinkles without even having to add water more than once. The shot of steam works perfectly and no dripping observed. I would recommend this item to serious sewing professionals needing a iron for seams etc.

Many problems with this iron
After a few months this iron began to leak. It also didn't seem to get very hot and therefore didn't put out much steam. It would steam and then not steam. I use it on the cotton setting all the time for my crafts. Very unreliable. I emailed and called the company numerous times and got no response. I finally gave up and bought a different iron. Please think twice before buying this iron. Leaking and lack of proper heat were my main complaints. Plus lack of response from the company.

Not a good product
This iron was very disappointing after only 10 weeks of use. It leaks water constantly whilst I iron and it loses heat when I am ironing.

Some problems with retractable cord, leaking and temperatures
My old iron lasted 15 years and I hope this one will do so also. Works really well, is simple to operate and fill and the ceramic plate really glides smoothly over fabric. It is nice to have the cord rewind and it makes it easier to store.11/1/19 - I experienced similar problems that other reviewers have mentioned (leaking and not coming up to temperature) but the biggest problem has been with the retractable cord. It sticks and it is hard to pull out, and now it only comes out about 2 ft. and is stuck and won't come out further.

This is the best iron we have ever owned. We iron all the time. The iron is lite and very powerful... Just love this iron!

This iron works very well. Easy to use. Love the cord rewind feature. Creases melt away with a light touch.
