When I bought a new MacBook Pro 16, I knew exactly what was going to happen to the keyboard as I tend to eat lunch while I work. I wasn’t going to let that happen to this computer. This keyboard cover is inexpensive, sturdy, fits perfectly, and does the job. Just carefully lift it off the keyboard, should there be dirt on it, and clean. The only downside is that, if you’ve never used a keyboard cover before, it take a bit to get used to given the feel of typing on it. After using it for a while, you won’t even notice it’s there. Plus, it prevents key wear.

This is the 2nd keyboard cover I’ve had for my MacBook Pro since owning it. The first came with a case & compared to this one was awful in comparison as it was made from a really soft, flexible silicone with the keys printed on them & just never seemed to want to stay put especially by the cursor keys plus it always seemed greasy to the touch even after wasing it. This model is like night and day; it’s made of a matte, flexible & more rigid silicone & fits the keyboard like a glove. It came with some very thin double sided tape to be used “only if” it didn’t want to stay place but honestly I think including that was unnecessary. After having a cover with they keys printed in black to match the keyboard I was a little concerned that they might be difficult to read under bright light but that’s not the case & everything’s clearly visible from sitting in bed with the light off to catching up on email in full sun at the park. The other thing I like is that it has what appears to be a slightly textured finish which I find much easier to type with as my fingers stay where I put them even whilst eating a bag of crisps or similar, which is why I bought a keyboard cover in the first place 😉 Not much else I can say other than I’m very happy with my purchase!

Hardly noticeable when on the keyboard, doesn’t move about when in place, you do have to press slightly harder on the keys at times, but does a good job of keeping dust etc. off the keyboard. It is a good buy, especially in an environment with cats that have long, fine fur.

This keyboard cover keeps its form after a year's use - however, it is so firm that it makes typing uncomfortable. Pros: - Resistant to yellowing after 18 months' use - Looks sleek Cons: - Very firm and difficult to type in my experience. - Key marks on my lapttop screen when I close it (but this is not uncommon with keyboard covers)

Passt perfekt und schützt zuverlässig! Ich nutze den Tastaturschutz jetzt seit einiger Zeit und bin wirklich begeistert. Er passt genau auf mein MacBook, ist durchsichtig und stört überhaupt nicht beim Tippen. Gerade weil keine falschen Zeichen aufgedruckt sind, bleibt alles übersichtlich. Ich sehe jedes Mal, was sich sonst an Krümeln und Staub in der Tastatur sammeln würde – und es lässt sich super leicht reinigen. Ich hatte neulich einen Vertreter hier, dessen Laptop ohne Schutz aussah … sagen wir mal, nicht schön. 😅 Wer sein MacBook pflegen und lange schön erhalten will, dem kann ich diesen Schutz absolut empfehlen. Eine kleine Investition mit großem Effekt!

Love this keyboard protector, really did it's job and very simple to use! BUT after recommendations from Apple specialists and from owners online, urges you not to install one with the screen closed. While you're using your MacBook with the screen open, its fine! I just didn't have the time or patience to remove every time when it's closed, etc so I have just set it aside.

I have a new keyboard cover from CaseBuy, and it looks and fits well. I made the mistake of ordering the wrong one, and CaseBuy could not possibly have been more helpful and more prompt in responding to my message. I will definitely be ordering from them again!
