A very small amount goes a long way. I am washing my hair every other day and I have used 3 bottles in a year or more. Also I have a kind of eczema on my scull and it has helped to reduce the symptoms **Q: my hair is dry yet i have an itchy scalp?** A: This shampoo did not personally work for me as it left my hair very greasy after a few washes and made the itching of my scalp worse. I was cursing it and wishing I hadn't stopped using the chemical based dandruff shampoo. I wanted to give it chance though and knew that persevering and giving it much longer would give it a fair test, plus it was expensive and I didn't just want to bin it. Sure enough after a couple of months (yes months!) it has started to pay off. It hasn't got rid of the dandruff completely but now it's down to a very small penny size patch, I don't have flakes or red patches anymore and my scalp is generally not itchy anymore either. I'm really pleased with it and I'll be buying more (sooner than expected as I've just gone and left it 230 miles away down in Cornwall after my holiday!).
