This replaced my ender 3 power supply it just a little louder then the original but not terribly bad. It does make preheating a lot faster on the bed. Just for informational purposes it does mount in the factory location and uses the power switch box and power in connector on the original power supply 2 bolts pull the housing off and 5 bolts to loosen the wires and voila attach to this new power supply reinstalled the connectors and switch and bolted the cover back on and mounted in the factory location hooked up the power wire to the printer and it was off to the races. checked voltage with a voltmeter and had a pleasant 24.5 volts dc.

I am using this to power a 24 VDC motor on a patient lift that I modified to pick up ZTR mowers to service the under side of the deck. DC power is very stable and works like a charm.

Even though it wasn't strictly necessary I wanted the extra headroom. After fighting an excessive amount of print failures and disconnects and shutdowns, a basic EM meter was able to tell me that this unit floods the environment with electromagnetic interference when in use, at least in 3D printing operation.This power supply was able to turn the entirety of my Neptune 3 max bed into one giant EM signal generator that was capable not only disturbing the printer itself when it was trying to print but also other printers around it.Avoid. Pay for quality, not this.

I’ve notified the seller and they responded quickly saying they would correct the image.There are a million and 1 uses for these power supplies and I currently have at least 5 of these in service right now on 3D printers and desktop CNC machines. Of the ones I’ve got they all shared the same basic specs, that is they are 360W or 15A. This is fine for my 3D printers but my CNC uses a little more juice with those larger steppers and the spindle. During heavy cuts I’m sure I’m pushing that import 360W further than ideal. Now I’m not saying I’m sucking 359W out of it all the time but I’d feel better if I have a 20% safety margin in there. Doing that would leave me roughly 275W to work with and my new larger steppers are capable of 4A draw each. So yeah that’s where this power supply comes in, at 600W this has nearly double the capacity so there is more overhead reserve.Now the form factor is pretty standard for these switching power supplies which is nice because I’ve already got one installed and this means I don’t need to rearrange anything in my control box. Wiring it up in there is pretty straight forward once you use the right connection points. In my case it was literally just moving wires over one to one since the layout on these switching power supplies seems to be unofficially universal.This power supply actually came rather well packed with foam insulation all around it and a bolt down kit in case you’re not mounting it on its side. It’s nice to see they took the effort to package this up as well as they did, I’ve bought other versions of these that were just stuffed into paper thin cardboard boxes with nothing else. They of course likely get damaged in shipping as did the last one of these I ordered. All in all I’m pretty impressed with this unit so far, fan kicks in when under load (heat) like it should and it’s putting out a nice stable voltage.

This is a great industrial style power supply. It can operate on either 110VAC or 220VAC with the flip of a switch, to supply 24V at 25 Amps!!! That is some serious current for my projects. I got this to power a Jacobs ladder that needs 10-15 amps at 24V. Everything is clearly marked on the device, though the stamped labels can be a bit hard to read in dim light. The AC connects to 2 or 3 terminals (L,N,G), and there are 3 positive and 3 negative output terminals, so you can connect a lot of stuff to this.I tested the line regulation pot, and was able to get a range of 21.57V to 27.41V, and it was pretty easy to dial in a perfect 24V. It comes with some mounting hardware, which is nice. It has a cooling fan that is pretty loud. The speed of the fan does not scale with load, as far as I can tell. It’s just on 100% all the time. It would be nice if it did though. Also, when switching off the AC power, it takes about 10 more seconds for the DC output of this device to start to drop, as the capacitors drain. This is pretty typical behavior for these types of supplies.Overall, if you need a very high current power supply like this, I would definitely recommend it. 5 Stars.
