Brought this pump for my husband it has lasted longer then any other

The pump supplied (end of May 19 - less than 6 week ago) had an extremely inaccurate gauge when I first used it (read massively over), which I kind of though well OK I can live with that (the pump it replaced was actuate but it broke after about 5 years of use). At < 6 weeks old the pump started to leak at the connection with the gauge, probably why it was inaccurate form the start. Anyway, I asked about having it replaced - initially asked to speak to Amazon to fix the problem (who had told me to email the supplier), the supplier now says its not under warranty, having said it was out of the 30 day exchange window. I mean come on, why would you be allowed to sell a product like this with no warranty. I see a previous customer had trouble getting a refund. Well I think I now go back to Amazon and ask them why! If I said what I thought I think they would pull the feedback, just understand what your getting into if you buy and it brakes.

I've had a few different footpumps including one that buckled the first time I used it. This pump is solid and smooth and works well. I've knocked a star off because of the head being so stiff. When I've inflated my bike tyre its fiddly to get the head off the valve and the tyre loses quite a bit of air whilst I wriggle the head back anf fourth. I've gotten used to it now but it was annoying the first few times. Having given this some thought I think the head being a tight fit may be a good thing. As it gets older it will presumably loosen up a bit rather than go slack and become useless, like my last pump. Maybe 4.5 stars would be a better score.

Poor quality product - the bond/weld between the pump barrel and foot pedal fell apart after less than 12 months normal use. When I contacted the seller this was their response......... You have had the pump nearly a year and therefore we need proof that the pump was not fit for purpose at the time the goods were delivered to you, and the faults are not due to you, before we are willing to exchange it.....Really - it fell apart in use - how can that be fit for purpose!My previous flimsier one from Halfords lasted far longer and did a better job.

Good and sturdy. The tube is a little thin so may not last lone.

For such a low price it is well worth the money, I carry it around with me on my Mobility scooter.
