As a side note, this was the first time the transmission fluid had been changed on the car and the plug was so tight that I wasn't able to break it free with a standard length breaker bar. In the end, I ended up using a 1/2" drive impact wrench and the socket was able to withstand the abuse and break the drain plug free.
