Got these for my 6 yo after he was talking about playing with them at his Kindergarten class. For the price, we have gotten an amazing amount of traction out of these! You c an build lots with all the pieces. There is a book with pictures of ideas, but not instructions, which I like bc it’s good and not too hard to figure it out! We have made lots of things from swords to superhero gloves to bow and arrows to an animal barn for other toys. I love that he loves playing with them, and they are easy enough to build with that he takes them apart and puts them away knowing he can build again. Super versatile and creative.We have a lot of building-type toys and didn’t know if we really needed another, but this has been a hit. 4-yo daughter likes to play with them too.The pieces are maybe the size of a quarter—just enough that I would be worried if there were a baby around so keep an eye if that’s the case.

We had sat down with the box of flakes and the four kids wanted to know what to do with them. I said what ever you want to build. The seven year old grandson got right to work looking through the instruction book. He made the car with the book to guide him and then he just took off and made all kinds of planes, space stations and you name his mind took him there, The four year old used the book a lot for his ideas, but still had lots of fun. They are very sturdy pieces of plastic and the grooves are nice and deep. Even if you loose a few there will still be plenty play with 600 count tub. So let your mind be you guide and just have fun. We did.

I am the Director of a preschool serving ages 3-5 years old. The children love the Brain Flakes and are very creative with them. They are very sturdy and are the right size for their little hands. Would highly recommend them.

This is perfect for kids, grandkids, and students. I purchased this for my kindergarten class and my students built some pretty cool things! They never got tired of playing with these either! So many possibilities!

I'm disappointed they are so small and can be snapped and broke so easily.My granddaughters have had these over a year now and still ask to play with them. 3yr old 5yr old 7yr old. The girls are making woulderful things. The girls are so creative. This toy helps build more creativity.They should make them a little larger and have ad on sets with other shapes.

With traveling for swim competitions. I am always looking for things easy to tote, that don't take up much space or too much extra weight to carry. These are perfect. Pulled them out today and the kids are loving them. They aren't playing with electronics they are thinking and creating win win. This may work for occupational therapy as well color matching and fine motor skills

My tween and teen kids adore these! They are so creative using this product - focused and cooperating for hours! Big projects, lots of projects, there are sooo many in the set (600 count) but not too many that it's overwhelming.

I bought this as a Christmas present for my 7 year old grandson but the 5 year old loves them too! More versatile than the standard "block" snap together toys, still love those but, not going to lie, this brings out another level of creativity and thought processes that cause kids to really use their imagination to design. Outstanding product!
