**Q: does it come with a carry case**
A: No, this is the standalone VT28 Two Pole Voltage Tester, it comes with probe tip covers, 2xAA batteries and instructions. The recommended soft carry case for the VT28 is the Martindale TC52, supplied separately. 

Alternatively, a VT28PD kit is available that includes the VT28, the TC70 combination carry case and the PD690 Proving Device. The PD690 allows voltage indicators to be fully checked in compliance with Health & Safety recommendations.

A: At your own risk: Follow the instructions marking on the device, turn it, it lifts up a little, then use the tip of a small flat screwdriver to catch a purchase at its side and pull it up GENTLY.
