Not the fault of the product but I was expecting the balls to be a little softer

You can use a tennis ball and it will do the same thing. The one with little nubs all over it is the same as a dryer ball. Probably cheaper to get that instead of these.

I spent quite a bit of time reading the reviews trying to figure out how firm the spiky ball is in this set. I didn't find a definitive answer in the reviews, so I went with the manufacturers text: "Not too hard, not too soft", "made of silicone" I don't know what other people got but this is what I received. The smooth ball is the exact size and density of a lacrosse ball. No different at all. The spiky ball - the one I bought the set for - is simply hard plastic. No give to it at all. Tap it on a table and it makes a hard plastic sound. This is not silicone! It is certainly "not too hard". It is completely hard. Fine if this is what you are looking for. I was looking for a firm spiky ball with some give. Did not work for me.

Great set that tells relieve my lower back pain. The spiky ball does miracles popping my L4/L5 back in place when there's can slight bulge in the disc.

Exactly what the wife was looking for. She says at first it hurts like hell to lay on these as per what she needs for her upper and lower back but after some time, the relief she felt was amazing.
