Dear Zoo Dog
I bought this for my grandson, with the books and some of the other animals in the story. I was delighted with the quality and detail, which is just like the illustrations in the Dear Zoo book. The size makes it suitable for very small children to hold and cuddle, whilst toddlers love incorporating the dog into the story. When used with the Dear Zoo books it encourages word recognition, in a fun and sociable way. Appealing to all ages, so helps the child interact with its peers.This toy is one of a collection, and although lovely on its own I feel its real appeal is that it is only part of the story, a story that might be a bit boring without the other animals. So I am now collecting a few at a time and its taking care of present dilemmas for now - so great gift idea. I have also purchased the elephant, lion and monkey so far.I do think the Dear Zoo Dog and all the collection is quite expensive, however all the merchandise I have bought is of the highest quality, and all include a beautifully made animal and carry case, with authentic design (as the books depict).The toys are soft, safe and easily wiped clean. well made should last for years. Highly recommended for young children.

A cute gift for a Dear Zoo fan
My daughter recently received the Dear Zoo book and loved the puppy at the end, so to have her own cuddly of the perfect puppy made her Easter Day.

Lovely gift for a little one
I bought this for my then 1 year old after reading and enjoying the books. At 2 he still likes this toy and likes to carry it round. My friends toddlers always seem to choose this to play with too. It's perfect for little hands and really good quality, no concerns of eyes or fur being eaten!

Great (but very small!)
Bought as a Christmas present for a child who loves dogs and the Dear Zoo book. Delighted when I saw this. It is a lovely item, but it is a lot smaller than I imagined. Still, its for a one year old, so probably just the right size!
