Using underneath 2 Highchairs to protect my floor against toddlers!
I am absolutely using this tablecloth 'off label' - however I am thrilled with it. I have 14 month old twins that love to hang their hand over their highchair tray and just drop their food onto the floor. If only we had a dog.... Anyway, I searched Amazon for 'protective cloths under highchairs', and more than a couple reviews stated that the very expensive highchair pads were just like old-fashioned oil-cloth tablecloths. So I bought this blue tablecloth to protect my wood floors which were starting to warp a bit. Here is why this review will apply to those of you buying it for its normal use.... It is good and it is holding up well!!! I have washed it several times and it holds up in the wash. Food drys on it and you can just shake it off. It is decently thick (with the flannel type cloth on the back) so that it protects and doesn't slide. And the edge of the fabric is sewed so that it won't rip along the edge.To sum: this is a solid table cloth that is getting daily use at my house (albeit rather unconventionally because it is getting walked on), and it is holding up great! So if it can handle my twins, it can handle picnics! :)UPDATE: I am changing my review from 5 to 4 stars. I am still happy with everything about the tablecloth except that with each wash in the washing machine the blue fades a bit. I wash it according to the instructions, but it still fades. So now the blue is not bright, it has a grayish tone - so it looks like a steal blue. Funny thing is that it matches my kitchen better, so I am not upset. But I have stopped washing it in the machine because I don't want it to fade more.UPDATE: it is now February and I bought this in August of last year (so 6 months). It has been stepped on, it has been creased by highchairs, and it has had tons of food on it. And it shows. I no longer put it in the wash because the color fades significantly each time I do. The plastic is now breaking on the crease (where I folded the table cloth in half to make it fit in the space). And I think I am ready to buy a new one. It has served its purpose well, but it is on its last leg. Is it as good as old-fashioned oil clothes my grandma had - NOPE. But would I recommend it, yes, so long as you don't put it in the wash.

What's more appropriate to cover Dorothy Gale's coffin? Yep, this is it.
Gingham. It's so Wizard of Oz. You know you were thinking it - put it on your table and it looks just like Dorothy Gale... if she was a rectangular table, that is.And, when Dorothy finally succumbs to old age and it's time for the funeral, what better covering for the coffin? Although, I can hope she'd have moved on from Gingham to something more suitable to older ladies. Or is gingham timeless? I think it is here!Note that when I placed it on my table, it did not form those perfect diamond shapes on the corners like you see in the pictures. Mine must be defective: It only has a sort of fold thing that flaps in the wind, especially when a tornado is coming. Nevertheless, I give it five stars and heartily recommend it. We used it for nearly two weeks until the decorating department at my household determined it was time to switch to a "timeless holiday print" which looks like holly or wreaths or something red and green, and also smells like vinyl. However, it has not been tested on a coffin and is probably not recommended for that use, as it may not be long enough to properly cover the deceased's final receptacle. (You could buy 2, though, and sew 'em together. We've got you covered, Dorothy!) It has also not been tested in a tornado, to my knowledge, though to be fair I doubt that Blue Hill Products really considers that a valid use. Come to think of it, it doesn't make a lick of sense to use it in a tornado. Also, in response to someone else who commented that it has a strong odor, I strongly agree. It smells like vinyl, and plastic. I wonder why that is? Perhaps because it's vinyl... and plastic. Obviously, such reviews emanate from those uppity shower door owners who have never purchased a plastic or vinyl curtain for their bathtub and thus doesn't know the pleasant scents of those selfsame ingredients wafting out of their bathrooms. (Which is far better than other scents, I might add. Just sayin'.)

Very practical but would like updated patterns and colors
I find this tablecloth very practical for my kitchen table because between my hysband and young grandchildren I found that tablecloths and place mats continually ended up on the floor or had to be washed. I use painter's tape in loops under the tablecloth to keep it from sliding around. And I can keep it clean by frequent wipng with a damp cloth. Only problem with it is that rheir is not enough variety of color and patterns. This check is the only pattern that doesn't look out of place in my kitchen. All of them appear to have been unchanged since the 1950's. I like the blue check but it is not really the shade of blue I wanted.

Nice looking tablecloth
My review here is pretty basic as we bought both this and an identical blue tavern tablecloth at the same time but have only used the blue one so far. It is holding up fine but has not seen any heavy use (as in a party). At this point, since it's not been used, I cannot say how durable this one will end up being but going by the blue one, I can say it looks nice and both were shipped fast and were well packed. If we have any problems, I'll update my review.

Use of all sorts of things
I attached this too a piece of wood that I use for all sorts of things like putting on my stove so I have more room (Stove not in use of course) to set out food on for gatherings. I also use it to make homemade sausage as I spill some out of the stuffer and it falls on this wood and it is easy to clean up and doesn't cause bacteria on the wood. When it wears out I will purchase more.

Red Classic Tavern Check Vinyl Tablecloth
Blue Hill, 52"x70"; Blue Classic Tavern Check, Flannel Backed, Vinyl Tablecloth; "Made in the U.S.A" Just like the one Mom had when I was a child. I wanted "Made in the USA." I can't seem to get tableclothes wide enough for my dining room table because they always shrink so I went for the classic flannel backed vinyl. Ordering on line saved time and gasoline because the stores rarely carry what I want. Now I've got my summer picnic look for Mothers Day, Memorial Day, Fathers Day, Independence Day, and Labor Day. My dining room is so stylish!
