Wifi in the whole of my 1 acre garden
I had installed the BE-65 Wifi 7 mesh system in the house and whilst the signal did cover a small amount of the garden and patio the strength was very patchy - down to 7mbs and at 40 feet the signal disappeared. I decided to install this as it was part of the deco family and had good reviews online and by video - I also wanted it to connect using wifi rather than have to run ethernet cables..... The product build quality is excellent - opening the base was easy - 3 self housing screws so you dont lose them when you've undone them..... power into the box then the fiddly bit was ensuring the rubber grommet was secure and made the box watertight - took a few attempts but finally all in place.... I only had one place to mount it and the two plastic ties were not long enough (and white which wouldn't look good on a black downpipe) so I purchased some 16inch black ties and attached it to the pipe then to the power after tidying the cable so it ran behind the pipe. Add to network was easy - deco app and add the device - easy. 4 minutes for install and then firmware update..... then off and running. Wow - I walked the whole garden and at 200+ feet it was still showing 50mbs download and 20mbs upload.... at 100 feet it was 150/120.... this product is fantastic and works beautifully. Simple to install, easy to connect, great build quality - highly recommended!

Great performance with high speed achieved constantly
I recently got a gigabit connection and achieved 932 Mbps download and 946 Mbps upload speeds. However, I was not happy with the Linksys Velop WiFi 6 router provided by the provider, so I replaced it with a TP-Link WiFi 7 mesh system. Now, most of my recent devices are experiencing speeds between 800 and 500 Mbps around the house. Our house is a typical semi-detached with two levels: two bedrooms and a bathroom upstairs, and two spaces and a living room downstairs. The main device is in a box under the stairs. I placed the second device in our main bedroom upstairs and achieve speeds between 700 and 500 Mbps near that second device. The device behind the wall on the other side of the box achieves speeds of 700 Mbps. I am extremely happy with the coverage and signal strength. The setup was also very easy and worked well with my broadband provider. However, this is a very expensive device. The only way I could buy it was due to Amazon’s offer of 0% interest payments over a year. I couldn’t be happier!

One of the Best Purchases We Have Ever Made for Our Network!
TP-Link Deco X50-Outdoor/Indoor Whole Home Mesh WiFi 6 (AX3000) We purchased the Deco X50 primarily for indoor use near a window, and it has exceeded expectations. Setup was refreshingly simple. Within minutes, we had our home network running smoothly, with clear and reliable guidance from TP-Link’s app and documentation. Performance-wise, this unit delivers. The AX3000 dual-band Wi-Fi 6 helps provide blazing-fast speeds (coupled with a strong network signal), and streaming in 4K has been seamless across multiple devices. We especially appreciate that it integrates VPN coverage at the network level, so we don’t always need to configure VPNs individually on each device (though it’s still an option when needed). This feature alone adds a layer of convenience and peace of mind. The build quality and look is excellent- solid, modern, and clearly designed to last. While ours is used indoors, it’s reassuring to know that the unit is IP65-rated for dust and water resistance, so it can handle outdoor conditions if ever needed. Multiple mounting options (pole, wall, or table or shelf top) make it adaptable to different setups, and the included Power-over-Ethernet support simplifies placement by reducing cable clutter. The dual gigabit Ethernet ports are another welcome addition for those who prefer wired stability. At around €118, it feels like a fair price given the performance, reliability, and features. It integrates seamlessly with other Deco units for a flexible mesh network, and TP-Link’s HomeShield provides added network protection and parental controls. If the price were slightly lower, I'd probably bump it up to being a 5-star product. In short, this is a high-quality, reliable, and well-thought-out mesh WiFi solution. We’re very happy with it and would absolutely purchase again if we needed to expand or replace our setup.

No problems at all
I took the plunge and after spoofing my existing routers mac address (it prompts you to enter an existing mac address when you first set it up) it connected to my 3gb connection and worked like a charm The signal is great, I only had a few issues with connected devices that were fixed by turning off and on and I can now connect to my cats water bowl (talk about 1st world problems). I can get 3gb wifi in the same room and while speed does drop off its better all over the house and in the garden. All my IOT stuff connects no problem even If they do not have 5ghz capabilities. There are no noise issues from the fans and the app works well.

Not for advanced users, good for basic users.
Lets start with the benefits. A dodle to set up, 10gbps, i like how you can chose what devices are on VPN and isolate dated iot devices. Port forwarding and most basic things are doable from the router itself using a mobile app. I like how i can also do a speed test directly from the router. Bad things You need to do EVERYTHING from your mobile, the web GUI is shockingly basic. Advanced features available on other routers isnt available, eg blocking new devices from joining the network. My main annoyance is you cant see the link speed that devices are connected at, particularly the mesh. Nor can you forceably select how you want it to work. Finally, it seems the wired mesh only works when connecting the Deco devices directly to oneanother, not via a switch which would be more efficient. So if you have more than 2 mesh devices, you need to use both ports to daisy chain from and to in order to get the 10gbps backbone of your network. This isnt a great router for people who know a little more about IT or want more granular control.
