Made from extra‑thick, micro‑fine polyester, each pad is designed to trap the smallest micro‑particles and debris as water passes through the filter. This makes them especially effective during periods of cloudy water, after tank maintenance, or whenever your aquarium needs an extra boost in clarity. The dense, high‑quality polishing material captures fine impurities that standard foam inserts may miss, ensuring your aquarium stays cleaner for longer. Suitable for both freshwater and marine environments, these pads help maintain a pristine, healthy habitat for fish and plants. Packaged in a convenient 3‑pack, Fluval Water Polishing Pads offer reliable, high‑performance filtration and are ideal for achieving optimum mechanical filtration in your Fluval canister system. I use these in both of my 207 filters all the time **Q: Will this fit my 107 filter tray** A: Yes it will your 107 filter tray **Q: Hi does this go at top of tray or bottom tray in the fx6 and how many do a need in filter please** A: These are the wrong pads for your canisters, I believe you need a round vision of the pads. You will only need 1 pad in the top tray of your canister. Hope you are able to find the correct pads for your canister filter. **Q: How do these compare to the generic ones? Especially in terms of longevity?** A: These are like 10% more convenient for 100000% the price of generic alternatives. Compared t a £2 bag of filter wool, the Fluval stuff fits perfectly into a Fluval filter without any cutting. It is slightly more firm, so you can get 2-3 washes out of it compared to 1-2 for filter floss (depends how often you clean your filter). So great if your loaded with cash and/or very lazy, bit otherwise it's a rip off. ## Frequently Bought Together - Fluval 106/7 and 206/7 Filter Quick Clear Pad - Fluval 106/7 and 206/7 Filter Phosphate Remover Pad,blue - Fluval 206/207 Filter Media Bio-Foam Value Pack --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.jp/products/52850473-fluval-polishing-pad-for-extension-number-104-105-106-204](https://www.desertcart.jp/products/52850473-fluval-polishing-pad-for-extension-number-104-105-106-204) --- *Product available on Desertcart Japan* *Store origin: JP* *Last updated: 2026-10-25*
