Pillsbury Date Quick Bread 16.6oz 2pks

Easy to make and you can add carrots, cherries & raisins. I even added shredded coconut to one package. But it is very overpriced. If you are in a hurry get it here, if not, look around in your neighborhood.. I found out today 1st April 2020, that it is... $1.85 per box at our neighborhood grocery! IMAGINE!... Remember, God does not sleep!!!

I have always used this exact bread mix as a base for my fruitcakes.People who don’t even like fruitcake, like mine!I could only find it on Amazon!!!

I like my Mother before me use this box mix with Pillsbury Festive Fruitcake recipe. Add Brandy, eggs, oil and the candied fruit and nuts and it turns out tasty and moist even for people that don't really like fruitcake!

I was very disappointed with your product. The date nut mix lacked nuts and dates and turned out extremely dry. I feel the product was old and expired. I certainly paid far to much for the mix. I recommend that no one purchase this item. I found a recipe on line which turned out delightful. If anyone still buys this mix, just know that you will have to add one cup of walnuts and one cup of dates. Take my suggestion and follow a recipe on google.

A Xmas family favorite that is no longer sold in local grocery stores. Glad to find it thru Amazon, but price is outrageous. Two boxes would sell for $4.00. The Amazon price was over $12.00!!

When I was a child, the Date loaf was one of my favorite breakfast foods, slightly warm and topped with cream cheese. I am happy that I was able to find this again.

The bread mix was not expired and was perfect for the Christmas breads that I make. Since this product has been hard to find in the last few years, it still doesn’t justify the increase in price.

I was looking for a date bread mix to use as a base for fruitcake and this filled the bill.
