Obviously nothing will stick at some point, if your counter is covered in cooking oil you're SOL or maybe completely flooded with water but they work great. I've washed all of them in the dishwasher several times now - they don't just fall apart.They do sometimes get a little fraying of threads at the edge, and I don't expect them to last forever and be some heirloom piece - but its so much better than using a kitchen towel.
