Engel Wire Basket - fits ENG123 Coolers

It is my opinion, for $250 this cooler should come with two top baskets and a center board. I think it's borderline criminal that I had to pay extra to get a top Basket and a center board for my $250 cooler. Granted I think it's a great cooler. I think the cooler works very. These additional items are what would have made it exceptional. They should have been included with the cooler at no additional charge to make the cooler complete.

I never saw one quite like this before. They're always made of thin wire with thin coatings on it. This sucker is HEAVY wire with a THICK coating on it. Nearly bomb proof, but then most of Engels fridges and coolers seem that way too. I've adapted this for use in an Engel 40 qt fridge/freezer where the normal type of white wire fridge basket rusted at each joint in just a year. I don't see that happening with this one.

Wish it was a little bit deeper...

A good addition to the cooler, the only issue was that I should have read the description better. The price was for only one basket, I should have just ordered the basket from Engel and got two for also the same cost.

Very heavy duty wire basket. This has been a great addition to keep sandwiches cool and dry while on the boat, even though you could use it as an anchor!

I guess it would be hard to screw up a cooler basket and they didn't. Just what I wanted, good quality, fit well. Love the Engel cooler too. Still had ice after 4 days with no problem. Beat my Yeti.
