At 66 feet per roll, it covers full room seams or multiple repairs without splicing. Activating at a safe iron setting of 2-3, it prevents carpet backing damage while the red stitch guide ensures perfect alignment. Water-resistant and compatible with various carpet types, it’s the go-to tape for durable, seamless carpet installations in both commercial and residential settings. ## Description A carpet seam is only as good as the tape under it. Zimpty ZY346 heat bond seaming tape carries 11 beads of hot-melt adhesive across a full 4-inch (100mm) width, so the bond holds across the entire joint rather than gripping at the edges and letting the center lift. The 66-foot (20 meter) roll is enough for a full room seam or a series of repairs without splicing. A red stitch line down the center gives you a clear visual guide for keeping the tape aligned under the seam. It activates at a standard iron setting of 2-3, so it works with the seaming iron you already own without running the heat high enough to scorch carpet backing. Suitable for commercial and residential work, including new installs, seam repairs, and patch jobs on cut pile, loop, and cushion-back carpet. ## Features - 11 BEADS OF STRONG ADHESIVE — Eleven beads of hot-melt adhesive run the width of the tape, so the bond grips across the whole seam instead of pulling apart at the edges under foot traffic. - 66 FEET PER ROLL, 4 INCHES WIDE — A 20-meter (66 ft) roll at 100mm (4") wide covers a full room seam or several repairs, so you are not splicing short pieces together mid-job. - ACTIVATES AT IRON SETTING 2-3 — Bonds at a standard mid-range seaming iron setting, so it works with the irons you already own without scorching the carpet backing at high heat. - RED STITCH GUIDE LINE — The center stitch line gives you a visual guide to keep the tape centered under the seam, so the adhesive sits where the joint actually falls. - FOR COMMERCIAL AND RESIDENTIAL INSTALLS — Suited to new installs, seam repairs, and patches in homes, offices, rentals, and hotels. Works with cut pile, loop, and cushion-back carpet. ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B0BYHMWNKS | | Adhesive Format | Beads | | Adhesive Location | On the tape | | Adhesive Side Count | 1 | | Best Sellers Rank | #157,029 in Industrial & Scientific ( See Top 100 in Industrial & Scientific ) #817 in Duct Tape | | Brand | Zimpty | | Brand Name | Zimpty | | Color | Brown | | Compatible Material | Carpet | | Customer Reviews | 4.5 out of 5 stars 75 Reviews | | Global Trade Identification Number | 00850035620663 | | Included Components | Carpet Joining Tape | | Item Resistance | Water resistant | | Manufacturer | Zimpty | | Material | Ethylene Vinyl Acetate | | Material Type | Ethylene Vinyl Acetate | | Model | ZY346 | | Number of Items | 1 | | Number of Packs | 1 | | Other Special Features of the Product | Strong | | Part Number | ZY346 | | Recommended Uses For Product | Indoor | | Size Name | 100mm x 20m | | Special Feature | Strong | | Surface Recommendation | Carpet | | UPC | 850035620663 | | Unit Count | 1 Count | | Upper Temperature Rating | 500 °F | | Water Resistance Level | Water Resistant | ## Product Details - **Brand:** Zimpty - **Color:** Brown - **Material:** Ethylene Vinyl Acetate - **Number of Items:** 1 - **Recommended Uses For Product:** Indoor ## Images ![Carpet Seam Tape 66ft, Heat Bond Seaming Tape 4 Inch Wide, ZY346 - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/519LFn1fZaL.jpg) ## Frequently Bought Together - Zimpty ZY346 Carpet Joining Tape - Super Heat Bond Seaming Red Stitch - Zimpty ZY305 10in. 800 Watt Carpet Seaming Iron --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.jp/products/528407837-carpet-seam-tape-66ft-heat-bond-seaming-tape-4-inch](https://www.desertcart.jp/products/528407837-carpet-seam-tape-66ft-heat-bond-seaming-tape-4-inch) --- *Product available on Desertcart Japan* *Store origin: JP* *Last updated: 2026-10-10*
