Ive been dealing with a dermatitis rash for three years. It's been in a constant state of flux between awful and not quite so bad as awful. It started on my face and quickly started appearing on back of neck, neck, chest, and back. After seeing a dermatologist and being misdiagnosed to the point of making it so much worse, I was quickly giving up hope and my mental well being was becoming more and more despondent. I started researching on my own and eventually came to find this brand. I started with the moisturizer. It made such an impact I then purchased the serum to go with it. Again, results were so promising even after one application. I then purchased the face wash and im now heading over to grab the body wash. This stuff is spendy but its quality and results have been unmatched for me. Im finally starting to see the light at the end of a long perilous and mentally challenging journey.

I have subtle seborrheic dermatitis on my face that most dermatologists brush off. This is the first moisturizer that makes my skin feel softer and not as clogged and congested as before. As a nurse practitioner, I’m pretty sure this is seborrhea caused by Malassezia. Nothing has worked in the past, including prescription medications. So glad I found this product. Started working by the 3rd day!

Gets the job done

Way too sticky. It dries on my face like a film, leaving me looking shiny and my eyebrows crusty, and sometimes rubs off in glue-like flakes. I’m sure the ingredients are very effective, but as a moisturizer it’s lacking comfort.

I have really sensitive skin that breaks out all the time. This is the only moisturizer I have found that doesn’t make my skin oily.

Unfortunately for me, I wasted a lot of money on a lot of products that were not Dermazen. This is one of the only products I buy repeatedly. I will say if my skin is near the beginning of a flair up this product stings/tingles a bit but it goes away quickly and I follow it up with a thick layer of a-phor ointment to help keep my skin moisturized. I have dry skin anyway, a flair up further adds to dryness and the Dermazen while super helpful is also drying on my particular skin. I use this on my face, neck, and around my ears and honestly is works like magic. Do yourself a favor and give it a try. I waited due to cost and spent way more on products that gave me zero or minimal results. I now use this and the serum and couldn’t be happier with their performance.

Skin varies dramatically from person to person, so what works for my seborrheic dermatitis may well not work for you. That said, I've tried coal tar, salicylic acid, ketoconazole, and various other mainstream products on my face and scalp to try and keep this under control with very mixed results. I'm about 2 weeks in, and this is the best I've used so far. Yes, the texture is not what you're used to for most face moisturizers, but if you're reading this you likely don't have "normal" skin and normal moisturizers like don't work well for you. One application in the AM (or PM) after a shower, and my skin isn't thirsty or dried out 30 minutes later like it is with virtually all other moisturizers. And the red, scaly areas that invariably start appearing do not come back after a few hours like they would before. It's expensive, but if it continues to work well for me I'll continue to purchase. I'm also using the cleanser in the shower just before drying off, so perhaps it's the combination that's so effective. Before this the best I'd found was an oil-based cleanser that's now discontinued, and I chose this out of necessity. If you're running out of options give it a try.
