Great shirt
These shirts are very smooth and light, they fit nicely and feel just right by size. Slight difference between the colours, one of them runs a bit larger

Great shirt!
Great shirt. Thickness of material is just right. Just thick enough it has the perfect hang where some thin fabrics cling. Wore in the Florida heat and humidity and felt cool and comfortable. Color and shape have held up through multiple wears and washes. I’ve purchased the black, light blue, and pink and they’re all great.

Very Nice, Good Value
Very soft and comfortable. Not a bad price at all. The material is light and good for layering. I am 5'10", 155# and ordered Medium since that is what I wear in most brands. It technically fits but I also got a large and that is more comfortable for me.

good value
very impressed by how soft and comfortable this is. bought it large to sleep in but it fits me well and I'm only a medium. Hoping quality matches comfort. other bamboo shirt i bought from another brand was terrible.

Cool and comfortable
Because they are not cotton, I wasn't sure my picky husband would like these t-shirts, but he LOVES them. Made of bamboo, they keep him cool here in our Alabama summers, and he loves the stretchy and silky texture. He's asked me to order more for him.

Best T shirts Ive owned
Awesome shirts and very breathable. Not thick but not see through. They held up well through the wash. Probably the best shirts ive owned. Unfortunately, after about 4 months, the white one has a small rip.

The Good, The Bad, and The Cotton
I approached these Pioneer Camp "bamboo" shirts with the hopeful anticipation of someone who's spent too many sweltering afternoons in cotton's sweaty, swampy embrace. The promise was alluring: bamboo's legendary cooling properties wrapped in "ultra soft" comfort. What arrived was a lesson in the gap between marketing dreams and fabric reality. Comfort: 3/5 stars: These shirts do deliver an upgrade from pure cotton's suffocating mediocrity. The bamboo content provides a noticeable improvement in softness and initial moisture management. However, here's where the story takes a turn: when you're mowing the lawn on a blazing summer day, this shirt will get wet and stay wet, just like its cotton cousin. The 48% cotton content ensures that bamboo's moisture-wicking superpowers are effectively neutralised. Value for Money: 2/5 stars At $14-20+ per shirt, you're paying premium prices for what's essentially cotton with benefits. Cotton is cheap. If I wanted cotton performance, I could get it for half the price at any big box store. Marketing Accuracy: 2.5/5 stars While "Bamboo Viscose T-Shirt" technically isn't false advertising, leading with bamboo when cotton comprises nearly half the fabric feels misleading. The Real Opportunity Pioneer Camp's own label states they're "upgrading fabric blends to make them softer and more stretchy." Here's how to actually deliver on that promise: Recommended blend: 80% bamboo rayon, 15% nylon, 5% elastane - 80% bamboo rayon maximises cooling and moisture-wicking - 15% nylon provides strength, silky smoothness and moderate stretch (cotton works against softness, cooling comfort and stretch) - 5% elastane optimizes stretch and recovery At your price point, nylon is absolutely affordable and would deliver the performance customers expect when they pay premium prices for "bamboo" shirts. Bottom Line These shirts represent a missed opportunity. They're better than pure cotton but fall short of their potential - and their price point's promises. With some thoughtful fabric engineering, Pioneer Camp could create something genuinely special instead of a cotton shirt wearing bamboo's marketing crown. Would I buy again? Not until they ditch the cotton and deliver on their upgrade promise.
