First class Replacement
I bought these replacement or ear buds for my Bose on ear Headphones from AHG. They are very good quality and were dispatched very quickly. They are tricky to install, I would recommend using the Inclosed QR code for installation on YouTube, which is excellent. The sound quality is excellent, they are really comfortable to use. Just the same as the original Bose ones.

Good replacement ear pads - watch the online video for fitting instructions
These replacement ear pads for the Bose on-ear Soundlink headphones are indistinguishable from the originals (which had split and cracked). There is a knack to fitting replacement pads, and I’d advise watching their online video if you haven’t done this before. I’ve fitted replacement pads like this before so found it very straightforward (it was actually harder to remove the old pads, as they had split around the edge of the seal and had to be pried away with a fingernail). Once in place, the new pads look just like the originals, with even the R and L letters on the pads just like the old ones. Although they are a little stiffer and less soft than the old pads, I’m assuming this is just because they’re new. These pads aren’t cheap but a lot cheaper than Bose branded replacements, and I can’t see they’d be any better.

Well made, nice looking and should be durable. Not the easist to fit, but worth the effort.
I bought these to replace the ear pads on my Bose OE headphones, obviously! My headphones are an older model OE than any of those shown in the product info but I judged that the pads would probably still fit and took a chance. Prompt delivery etc so no problems there. I watched the installation video as per advice of the manufacturers (handy link provided in the package) and was aware of the poor reviews that the product had received based on the difficult some users had with installation. The video is great, well made, easy to understand and, as it turned out, about as much use to me as a chocolate fireguard. My headphones don't have the handy little slot shown in the video that allows one to just slide the new pads on. That didn't stop me trying for a very frustrating 2 hours though. :) In short, the product is good, well made and possibly perfect if your headphones are the newer Bose OE type. If not, then good luck because you're on your own. I managed to get the new pads on but it involved the removal of parts of the headphone which were held on with very delicate plastic clips which I doubt were ever designed to be removed. That said, if you are careful and methodical, it's actually very straightforward and definitely easier than the method shown in the video. Remove cover plate carefully, slot inside new ear pads, clip cover plate and attached ear pad back on to the unit. Looks factory and works perfectly. All in all, I hope I never need new ear pads again but if I do, I''l be buying another set of these. I just wish, I'd filmed my method for others to follow.

Perfect replacement earpads
These replacement earpads for Bose headphones are the great, easy to fit and great quality. They simply click into place and are soft and comfortable in use, mine had been on years and had split in places so when I saw these I snapped them up. They clicked into place and made a difference immediately, I can highly recommend them.

Impossible to install
Junk. Almost impossible to install - even when following the video … tore one. Google: Bose soundlink on ear ear pad installation by AMG … Feel poor quality … A real let down

Quality product.
A great product, Backed up by the feeling of support from the moment you complete your purchase. Specifically, the professionalism of the way the product was described and supported by a video showing how fit the pads. I did see cheaper versions, but I chose these with the confidence that they would be as described, and I was not wrong. You can tell as soon as they arrive, by the packaging, that you have purchased something of quality from a company that pays attention to detail and takes pride in their product. After they arrived I received an email from the company to check all was well with my purchase and offering assistance should I need it in any way. What more could you ask. The product is as described, good quality, fiddly but not difficult to fit. The only suggestion I wold make is to have the centre hole in foam perhaps a little larger. The holes in my original pads were a little larger and I think there is a very slight reduction in volume. However, this is offset by I believe, an increase in noise cancelling. So it’s not a bad thing. The only thing I have not rated is durability, purely because it’s to soon to know. I wish AHG every success. A rare chance to deal with an outstanding company. Thank you.

Fiddly to install. Worked well for a few months ... then fell apart.
As with most headphone replacements, these were a bit fiddly to install initially. They seemed to be working fine for a few months, nice and comfortable, decent sound. But they didn't last long at all. I've had these fitted less than 6 months and already need to order a new (different!) because they are falling apart. While my original bose headphones wore down on the leather material after years of use, the actual replacement materials seem absolutely fine still, but the seams have failed and all of the various bits of material are now just pulling apart from each other. It's a shame, but it's clear they've used cheap fabric glue to hold together joints of material, and as soon s you start to use them with any regularity they've failed.

Perseverance pays!
These ear-pad replacements are extremely well made. They need to be! It took a lot of huffing, puffing, swearing, sweating, pushing, pulling to fit them into my Bose OE2 earphones. I was almost at the point of chucking the whole lot out of the window. Not one to give up, I persevered and, thankfully, it paid off. Earphones now like new and the pads are very comfortable. As recommended I watched the video beforehand. Looks really easy - but the demonstrator has obviously had a lot of practice. Don't be put off by the trials and tribulations of fitting them - you will get there in the end - but don't be in a hurry! I certainly don't think it's the design of the ear pads - more the design of the headphones. Perhaps Bose expect you to buy a new set?! These ear pads are exceptional value for money. Just hope I don't need to replace them too soon!
