Tips is weird but casing is great
Love this 2 years of use now. can be on the thicker side so you have to make sure your pen clicks in to charge

Protected For Sure
The media could not be loaded. The sleeve is fairly easy to slide on and push off.The cap is one of my favorite parts.Color is cute. Cutout for the Apple brand. It’s a nice aesthetic and a nice feel and I already dropped my pencil once. No damage.Love it!It won’t charge with the sleeve on but I do have a silicone case on my iPad as well. I haven’t tried charging it without the iPad case yet. Now, it doesn’t fit in the space designed for the pencil on my Apple case. But I just went ahead and attached a loop to the outside of my case and problem solved.Due to my propensity for losing things I also attached a silicone ring and a lanyard that keeps it anchored to my iPad case.I seriously love this sleeve. The light purple color brings me joy and it’s such a comfortable grip.I ordered two others for options but this is the one I kept.Edit: 1 week of use. The cap for the tip of the pencil will not stay on. I’ve been using the pencil for drawing, coloring, and writing in my GoodNotes planner. The cap has stretched out or something, I’m not sure. It keeps slipping down and falling off. I had to tape it make it stay but it didn’t help much so I removed it. The cap kind dog slides down, twists around. It sucks because I prefer the feel of the pencil with the silicone cap on.

Love it!
This is the second generation Apple Pencil. I loved my first generation but was excited to try the new and upgraded version. First, I love that the pencil charges by magnetically being placed on the top of the iPad rather than charging through the iPads charge port. The second versions charging capability is by far my favorite change. Additionally, the new pencil has a touch option where you can double click the front/top of the pencil and select a setting you previously had, depending on how you set it up. I personally was using this feature in pro create to toggle between the brush/pencil option and the eraser, but it did take some getting used too and I still find myself using the old way. This is just personal preference. The least favorite difference in the two pencils for me is the size. The second pencil is heavy and a bit bigger than the first. I don’t mind the thickness of the pencil but the heavier it is the shorter amount of time my arthritis and FMS stricken hands are able to use the pencil in one sitting. Overall, I still love my pencil but will be looking for the next one to be a tad bit lighter.

Didn't really fit my Pencil
I found this sleeve to be unusually easy to put on and take off. However...unless I reeeeeeally stretched the sleeve and reeeeeeally jammed the tip of the Pencil into the nib (there's only one, by the way–not the 2 that are indicated in the (as of the time of this writing) 4th description picture at the top of the page), I couldn't remove the gap between the two pieces. And jamming the single most important component of the Pencil in did not feel safe at all.Although the silicone *is* soft and pleasant to grip, the irregular-octagon siding was not. There are two very narrow sides, and griping the Pencil in any rotational orientation didn't feel good for me.For those interested, the iPad screen does detect the Pencil's nib through the cover, so you can write on/tap the screen with the Pencil nib covered if you want a softer sound or feel to your interaction.I also bought the rose one (before returning them); it's more of a pink/magenta than the picture on the listing presents, which is pretty definitively red. The green seemed pretty accurate, though.

[UPDATED] does not fit properly... constantly slides
recent edit: i couldnt stand it anymore. i had to use glue stick, scrapbooking tape, rub just about anything on the sides of the actual apple pencil for this case to stay on. i was desperate because i really wanted brown/cream and theyre so hard to find in these perfect shades. at this point the little rigs werent even working anymore. as mentioned before, the originals i got and the resent ones BOTH were a bit loose on my 2nd gen apple pencil and over time became so loose i had to rip them off mid class because they kept sliding everywhere or the tip cover would fall off. quality control needs to improve and maybe ill consider repurchasing but this is a definite no from me.-i got this case because they were in the color i needed. now dont get me wrong, the stylus covers are great quality and feel great in your hand. they are soft. however, the sizing is off. i have a 2nd gen apple pencil and i got the case for them as advertised. both the brown and beige cases are loose in a way. it's either the longer portion sliding around or the 'tip' portion coming off. i even tried to get an exchange hoping i got a faulty batch but it was still the same problem. i decided to keep them and i had to result in putting something sticky directly onto my apple pencil underneath the case so that i could 'stick' the case in place to prevent it sliding around. it's definitely annoying. i wish it would fit properly and not slide or pop off, then it would be perfect, but based off how both batches i got had the same issue, i'm not sure its possible.

PEN WILL NOT CHARGE WITH SLEEVE AND CASE ON IPAD
I think these sleeves are beautiful. Very comfortable grip as well. However, if I have the sleeve on my Apple Pencil it will not charge through a silicone case…it will without the case though.
