Honestly the best water bottle I’ve ever owned! Let me tell you why i love it. It’s big enough (32 ounce) to get me thru a 2 hour gym session, the water stays the temperature all day and it will last beyond that, it fits in a large cup holder (I had to add a larger cup holder in my car but it fits perfectly after), and the best part is that the straw tip is soft so I don’t have to worry about chipped teeth (which nobody ever talks about but with those bulky hard plastic tips you can certainly do). Also everything is super easy to clean and you can even buy replacement parts if you need. I’ve used so many different bottles over many many years and none are as perfect as this EDDY bottle. The price is higher than the cheap bottles, but it’s worth it as this will last years if you don’t lose it lol. I always suggest this design to everyone because it’s perfect for drinking from and dentist friendly. I literally take it with me everywhere I go so l am always guaranteed to have fresh clean water anywhere.

Well, before I could even take a sip out of it, it flew out of my cup holder because I hit a bump while I was doing about 15 mph on my electric bike, and it landed on the ground and exploded. The lid came off and it slightly came apart. But it all went back together and functions perfectly. Not to mention kept my drink cold all day. THIS THING IS FREAKING AWESOME! AND IT CAN TAKE A LICKING AND KEEP ON TICKING! I WOULD GIVE IT MORE STARS IF I COULD.

What a great water bottle. I did buy a different top for it as I wanted the purple bottle but wanted the spout top. Kept water cool all. day. I'm a convert. I've been buying Takeya for the last 8 years and the ones I just bought didn't keep water cold for an hour.

My vocalist friends absolutely SWEAR by the CamelBak Eddy+ so I decided to get one for myself, and honestly? I can see why they rave about these things now. The Eddy+ lid really is leak proof. I don't even need to push the bite valve straw down. If I'm in my recording studio it stays up and ready for me to grab a drink (warm, not hot, green tea for preference. DO NOT use hot beverages with the Eddy+ lid unless you want a scalding geyser!) Really my only complaint is that the aesthetic choices are black, white, off white #1, off white #2, or off white #3. And whoever thought melon pink was a good name for a sunset orange gradiant needs to have their eyes, and their head, examined. I went with black in the end and slapped a vinyl sticker on it because they pop out against black better than off-white #26. As long as you're looking for something sleek and unintrusive aesthetically you literally can not go wrong with these beautifully engineered bottles though, and I refuse to knock off a star just because I don't find the colors appealing. Function over form, especially as a musician who needd a sturdy bottle that can be kicked around in a gig bag without immediately denting (Looking at you, Thermos). Just be sure to grab a silicone boot for it otherwise that 'bong' will drive your sound engineers insane!

I have been using this daily for a year, as a summer camp counselor, caregiver and teacher. What I Like: - It doesn’t have that taste/ smell that some metal bottles have - Working outside, I usually only have to refill with ice once a day. - I left it in my car and the metal was hot to the touch but water inside was still cold. - Leakproof (unless you lose a piece of the lid like I did) - Takes a beating well What I don’t like: - Hard to clean. The lid comes apart, but the inside of the bite valve, as well as the lid itself, has a lot of spots for water to get trapped and mold. It’s dishwasher safe, but I usually have to hand wash first, then send it through the dishwasher to get rid of the soap taste. - Replacement bite valves are expensive and hard to source. - Over time, the straw hinge gets loose and no longer stays down. There is no cover for the straw, so the straw gets really dirty.

I feel like this is what I've been waiting for, for, literally, years. For the longest time, my Eddy has been my go to, but I was always frustrated with condensation when I wanted a cold drink. This stainless, insulated Eddy + is a very welcome upgrade. I've been reluctant to jump on the Hydro Flask train and I'm glad I didn't. My Eddy + is light without feeling or looking at all cheap, and it costs way less than a Hydro Flask. I love the Navy color Camelbak offers. The bite valve is indeed different from the original Eddy. It feels like it will last longer given it's modified design. The valve feels thicker and less rigid and flexes down and in instead of up and out, which is kind of cool. The hose that connects the bite vale to the straw is also different from the original Eddy. It looks like it will be easier to take out and clean. The straw is really the only thing that seems to have carried over from the original Eddy, and that's just fine with me. The grip is really great, a definite improvement. I'm able to get two fingers into it as opposed to just one on the original Eddy, which is great for carrying. It's also closer to parallel with the ground which keeps it away from my nose when I'm drinking. The cap looks as though it will be about as easy to clean as the original Eddy was, which is good. The original Eddy wasn't all that difficult to keep clean. Speaking of grip, the finish on the steel has a really excellent, grippy texture and I don't feel like I'll drop it, which is also good, because I really, really don't want to bang this thing up. It just looks great. On a final note, if you were frustrated by the ambiguous dimensions on the Camelbak site, like I was, the bottom diameter measures in at about 85mm or about 3.35 inches.

Camelbak und insbesondere die Eddy Flasche sind schon lange meine Favoriten. Nun sollte es diese hier sein. Leider passt die Flasche von der Höhe nicht so ganz und ich habe vorher nicht gemessen (im Auto). Daher geht sie leider zurück
