Easy to install batteries in each candle, each take 2x AA type, battery life seems good so far, it would depend on how often and how long you have them running for, but I'm happy with it. They came well packaged and have the feel & look of real church style candles. I put some batteries in and placed three of the candles in a lantern as per the picture, the other two I placed in two more individual lanterns, they look excellent but when switched on and set to 4hr timer using the included remote, they come to life and look fantastic with a flickering and moving flame. They come on at the same time every day for 4hrs but you can equally set them to 6hr or 8hr timer or just switch them on or off using the remote control. I have had them a week now and they have functioned perfectly. I can’t say how long the batteries will last yet but obviously they will last longer if you switch them on and off when needed or set the timer to a lower setting such as 2hrs but I find the 4hr timer is ideal.

Fabulous set of flameless candles, with realistic wax exterior, as described. Flickering effect realistic. Remote control easy to use with timer, dimmer, and simple on or off settings. Silent operation, no noise. Luxurious feel and very hypnotic to gaze at in an evening. Versatile, where you can use them individually or in small groups, or all together in one group, choice is yours. I placed mine within two large floor-standing candle holders, where they look wonderful. Easy to install batteries in each candle, each take 2x AA type, battery life seems good so far, it would depend on how often and how long you have them running for, but I'm happy with it.
