Looks like the shipping crushed a lot of the leaves. I'm making mead and it's still very usable. Just not many full leaves.

Have plans to use this for a large scale commercial beer experiment. The Gesho arrived perfectly packaged and smells great. I made a tea with it and the flavor is exceptional. Can't wait to get the beer made!

I received my order quite promptly. The price was reasonable, especially considering the "exotic" nature of the product. I used the leaves to create my own home-made tej. I'm not sure how "authentically Ethiopian" the final result was, but nevertheless I was enormously pleased. I have no complaints whatsoever about the product, the service, or the price. It is a very bad product! Waist of my money! First, the quantity is very small. Because Gesho is so cheaply produced in Ethiopian farms, Bruno (the company selling the product) is selling the product that coasted them a dollars for over 9 US dollars. Second, the quality of the product is very low, and it is a trash grade. Gesho supposed to be very green and large size of leafs. But the Bruno Gesho is very dark and had a look of spoiled plant. Finally, the Gesho did not work. It is a total waist of money.

I like the flavor it has a very nice smooth minty wine taste

Great product. I use it to make Tej - Ethiopian honey wine. Like that the products needed are available. My husband was stationed in Ethiopia in the early 70’s and always enjoyed the Tej.

I ordered Gesho Kitel so we could make a batch of tej for a celebration and we are super excited to taste it when fermentation has finished! Our stuff came quickly and in great shape and smelled so nice when we opened it to add to the brew process. Will absolutely be ordering again if our tej turns out well!
