It is really good set of books with a ton of bushcraft and survival tips I highly recommend these books

Given to a Royal Marine by request. Seen as a definitive, easy read, useful guide to turning hostile terrain into suburban luxury. Certainly seems to thrive on it and looks none the worse for living off the land in fact far better than myself!

These books are a great read and introduce you to a lot of concepts you wouldn't even think to look up on the internet. Only issue is while they are packed full of written knowledge there are very few pictures, I would give this under 5 stars if he didn't have an illustrated book outside this set which I highly recommend purchasing before this set as the images make the ideas in this series far easier to visualise and understand. Very good and engaging series, can't deny that.

Exactly what I expected, with some clear and nice instructions to follow. There is some cross over of information in the books but that's a minor issue when you consider the overall box set.

These books are really brilliant - content is all relevant, interesting and helpful and the books themselves are quite sturdy, so suitable for use in the field. Easy to digest with detailed diagrams and descriptions. It is worth pointing out that most of the foraging and hunting information is intended solely for use in the US as it doesn't include any other nation's species, but that's reasonable considering the size and nature of the books. Overall a brilliant buy.

Haven't finished reading them all but what I have read was very good, lots of good information. Shelters, knots, traps, recipes, kit lists, it goes on. Great for someone who is just starting out or the experienced that needs a refresher.
