Here we have a really good, entertaining WWE Night of Champions from a really good year for WWE in 2008.WWE Tag Team Championship: ***Father and son in Finlay and Hornswoggle take on the Miz and John Morrison for the WWE Tag Team Championship. This was quite good for it being the opening match and the crowd were really into it.WWE United States Championship: ***A really impressive performance by Chavo Guerrero who took on the WWE United States Champion Matt Hardy. The match itself really worked and I thought both superstars worked really well to show how talented they both are.ECW Championship: ****This in fact was a triple threat and featured Mark Henry, Big Show and the ECW Champion Kane. This was one of my favourite matches on the card as all three superstars proved how dominant they can be.WWE World Tag Team Championship: *We didn't get much of a match, so I will probably let most of you see for yourself on this one.WWE Intercontinental Championship: ***Chris Jericho was going to defend the WWE Intercontinental Championship against a mystery opponent i.e. Kofi Kingston. This was Kofi's first major pay-per-view, and he really pulled off a great performance against Chris Jericho.WWE Women's Championship: **Katie Lee had a one on one match with the WWE Women's Champion Mickie James, and it was a good performance all round.World Heavyweight Championship: ****Here we have two of the greats in Edge and Batista who battle once again for the second time at this event. This was a blockbuster of a match with great performances by both superstars who have had great matches against one and other in the past.WWE Championship: *****WrestleMania 22 we saw John Cena make Triple H tap to the STFU to retain the WWE Championship. Now we get the reverse in seeing Triple H defending the WWE Championship against John Cena. This match is off the charts, we were guaranteed a classic, and we got just that from two superstars who know how to pull of a five star main event.Overall I think WWE Night of Champions 2008 was a really good pay-per-view. It really delivered and their is some good quality matches in this pay-per-view for everyone to enjoy.

I thought this was a decent PPV, because many people have said that this was a not so good PPV.The one match that really stood out and kept me entertained was the ***** main event between John Cena and Triple H. John Cena and Triple H had their first one on one match at WrestleMania 22 which took place in 2006 :) and I can remember that match being awesome. This match that took place at the Night of Champions, stole the show with both Cena and Triple H working well together, performing some great moves, with Triple H ending the match with a second pedigree and Triple H retained the WWE Championship.Other matches I liked1. Edge vs Batista2. Mark Henry vs Big Show vs Kane3. Matt Hardy vs Chavo Guererromatches I disliked1. Cody Rhodes and Hardcore Holly vs Ted Dibease and ? Partner2. Kofi Kingston vs Chris Jericho - this match was alright, but not the best of matches between these twoOverall I really enjoyed this second annual edition of the Night of Champions and its worth a watch for sure, especially for the main event.

A decent ppv, nothing particular fancy or mind blowing, but a good little ppv, with a solid mainevent in HHH vs John Cena and an okay undercard.
