I did, but with tons of trial and error. First off the kit came with everything I needed, and had it was all good quality. It’s stuff you’d buy separately to crochet too, not just cheap stuff a lot of kits include. This may be beginner for this style of crochet but it’s not really a beginner crochet project. Everything you’ll work with is very small. The videos are really good and helpful but it’s impossible to explain every nuance to beginners. So there were a lot of very simple assumed things that I didn’t know such as tightening a slip stitch, that the first crochet goes into the same hole as the slip stitch, and even things like the yarn getting separated if I yarned over in one direction vs another. All in all I’m glad I did it, it was a crash course in crochet but I am ready for any project now after doing this!
