NEW UPDATE. Ok I figured out how to get GIF files to play and I can’t believe they don’t explain this in the manual.. I know squat about how Gif’s work, well you can adjust how long each picture displays before going to the next. You can go up to 20 seconds. To play a GIF you turn it down to 0.1 seconds, it is the lowest setting. Load the GIF, and that’s it.. Why the heck is that not written anywhere?? Someone else must have had the same issue.. Of course if anyone replied to my emails they could have told me that. It’s been a month and I just figured it out..UPDATE. I cannot get gif’s to play at all. Plus it will randomly not show some/most of my pics.. I have been emailing the manufacturer, with no response.. I have reached out around five times over the past ten days. They have not replied even one time.. customer service is nonexistent I guess. I would have paid the $40 more for the “Swaglight”.. It’s the same exact light, with a highly reviewed app..I want to leave 5 stars, but I keep having trouble uploading gif’s. The app keeps disconnecting. And When I try to add a Gif, sometimes it will erase everything else, then add it. It’s pretty frustrating. When I got half of the ones I wanted in there, I stopped. I am hoping that it is a bug that they will work out in an update. I did hear others saying the same thing..With that being said this thing is AWESOME!!! It seems to be very durable. They did lab testing on it. Beating on it several different ways, then using it and seeing how it works after a beating. I am impressed. I have looked at all the other similar lights out there. The ONLY other one that comes close is the Swaglight, but it’s $40 more, and it is the same exact light with their name on it.. Most of the other 4 Row lights are lacking in any protection for the light strips. These are very well protected, and the 4 arms screw on to the center hub, very robust, beefy.. The installation was not too bad. You should just pay attention to how snug the center part grips the wheels hub. You want it to be nice and snug but not tight. It should stay in place by itself, but will move by hand. If you set up the center part like that it will make the rest much easier, and reliable.. This thing was expensive and I want to update this later, after couple months using it. So check later if your thinking of buying it..I am going to ride my ebike daily like normal, bumpy roads and hard riding. If it breaks it breaks.. so check back later and see if it still works... Compared to others the price is actually good. Oh and This and the swaglight are the ONLY ones for IOS devices. HUGE deal right there, for me anyway..

The media could not be loaded.  Update: No longer connects to app. Totally useless after a week. Has no Bluetooth connectivity whatsoever. And the app crashes constantly. Horrible horrible horrible.

At first I couldn't figure out how to connect the app to the light at all, the latest version on PlayStore DOES NOT WORK. You would have to get an older version online somewhere and side load it, I have no idea if iOS would work.Once you install the OLDER FIRMWARE (Currently using 5.6 the newest version6.0 doesnt work) all the instructions work. The problem is for some reason the app auto updates, and always goes to 6.0 at some point. I don't see this an issue, since I rarely switch out the images stored on the lights. But if that does happen you need to uninstall it and reinstall the older version.Take note, it will ask you to Log-in Or Make an account. Ignore that, even if you try to log in with facebook or register, it WILL NOT WORK. Just press the back button in the upper left corner, and you will be logged in as GUEST. You still have full access to the app even in Guest Mode.Large Low-res images work best, like pixel art images, if you try to put anything more high-res, the image will just look like a blob. Take note, everytime you change the image set on the lights, YOU NEED TO GO TO SETTINGS AND DELETE ALL IMAGES ON THE LIGHT. If you don't, they "disappear" but still take up space, and at some point you will get a memory full message.Over all pretty great light, but finicky. It does work, but poor app and company support. I got the advice to use an older version from the app comments on playstore.

Installation is a pain in the ___________ (fill in your own expletive). Part of it I give them a pass on because working inside the spokes of a bike wheel is well, just plain hard no matter how you slice it. They fortunately give you plenty of the microscopic screws to attach the arms with because I dropped them probably 10 times and ended up losing 3 of them.Once you get it installed and working, this is pretty cool. The documentation is rather lacking. The app for android, as of Aug 3, 2017, is somewhat flaky. It had pairing problems, randomly would not connect to the device, and randomly locked up. The bluetooth problems could also be the fault of my Samsung phone as I find Samsung's bluetooth to, in a word, suck.Overall, after having it out of the box for a whopping 2 hours, I am so far happy with it. A tad pricey but someone stocked it local and I didn't have to wait for it ship from China. I ride for Cancer Research this Saturday and wanting something different this year.One thing that made me consider dropping this to 4 stars... I frankly however have no idea why they feel they need my location data and the app hard locks up if you don't grant it. Not only that it left an error artifact on my screen that I could only clear with restarting my phone.Once I got it working though, it was pretty to be able to just take a photo I had on my phone and the app did the rest. It converted it and uploaded it to the device and I was good to go.II have not yet

Ordered two, and one had a faulty switch.... replacement was sent.... and it had the same malfunction... all the boxes of the lights came ripped as well.... plus the app on top of all this doesn't work to pair with the lights over all...i really wanted them... i say this, they had a very nice design seemed well made....but after all the trouble i went through and bad experience with them.... not worth the money.

Installed APP on Iphone SE . However , can't seem to create an account because checkcode is wrong ( two codes on the box , tried both ) . Lights work , but personal pictures etc. can not be downloaded.... Tried to contact helpdesk twice , no response . Anybody any idea how this can be resolved ?

works great, but you need to use a old version of the app.For me it work'd only on android phone and only on some particular model of samsung phone.
