Awesome chair, super light, compact, sturdy, and comfortable
Exactly as described. Super light and easy to assemble and disassembled. Instructions are good and after you have disassembled it once you are good to go. Light enough to put in a backpack and take with you. I just came back from a myrtle beach baseball tournament and I can't do bleachers. This was excellent and I got a ton of interest from others. This would be excellent for fishing, too. Get one. Price is really fair for the quality.

Extremely light, compact and portable. Saves space transporting and easy to travel or hike with.
Update after moderate use: Finding them very comfortable. I've been taking to watching my children's sports practices and they are much more comfortable and convenient than the fold up chairs available to sit in (as well as a guarantied seat). They setup and breakdown in 45 seconds and are nice and easy to carry into a crowded area. I think they could be very comfortable for multiple hours. Additionally, the materials are holding up very well. I recommend these to anyone who's looking for compact portable chairs. -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Another great Moonlence product! I have one of their portable side tables and it's been great for camping and taking to beaches or swimming holes. I've been looking at different compact chairs to add to our outdoor gear with a primary focus on portability so we can get away from the big bulky foldup chairs that take a lot of space and not fun to carry far. I was hoping to get something very comfortable, but knew that's harder to get in a small package and was willing to sacrifice some comfort for portability. So that being said, these chairs were an excellent choice. I would have no problem carrying these on a 5 mile hike or down a steep trail to a swimming hole. They save a lot of space for camping and make it easy to pack more stuff and not be overloaded in the car. They can fit in a backpack. Keyword: PORTABILITY. Durability, these seem very sturdy. The material seems very strong and reinforced in the spots that take the most stress. The metal frame is very sturdy as well. Comfort wise they aren't a cushioned recliner, but they will get the job done around a campfire or at the lake or for enjoying a nice view for an hour or so. I'm 5'9" 175lbs and I'd say someone up to 6' with an average frame would have similar experience. Bigger than that could be less comfortable. Lastly, it's quick and easy to put together and take apart. Shouldn't take more than a minute or 2 for anyone without mobility or dexterity issues.

Near Perfect
Initial thoughts. Will update after extended use if something changes. Pros: 1. Stability; front to back motion is extremely stable and you’re unlikely to fall backwards unless you’re being foolish. 2. Size; very compact and lightweight. 3. Ease of use; was very easy to put together with no strain. Cons/Requests: 1. Durability: It’s more of a psychological thing maybe, but the metal tubing is smaller than other chairs I’ve tried. Probably not an issue, but I wonder if a thicker tubing would add more rigidity and durability to the frame. 2. Versatility: The feet could be bigger to help with stability in softer soils (like sand), or an accessory foot to add during those times could be useful. 3. Comfort/Durability: If there was more material at the top, instead of the mesh going all the way up, it would help with the comfort since the top edge can press into your back after longer periods. It would also help with overall durability since mesh, while nice for airflow, is not necessarily going to hold up well with long term use. Overall, a great camp chair for the cost/value. It competes well against other chairs in its category, and I’m looking forward to using it.

Compact and lightweight
Highly recommend. I bought these chairs a few years ago and sadly they got moldy in the bag after a rain (my fault), but I could never pick different camping chairs so I bought another set. I'm extremely happy with them. They're very lightweight and compact, and they hold my overweight bum when assembled. Once you get camping chairs this convenient, traditional camping chairs just won't do and feel far too bulky. These fit into a tote for a picnic. I can fit two in one hand while walking with other gear.

Incredible Quality and Value
Amazing quality and construction. I’m so glad I’ve found this brand. Very impressed with all the “extra” thought and features they include in their products. This chair is very comfortable. Fits my 5-10” 180# lb body perfectly. Like how you can actually tuck in your elbows which provides arm support almost like arm rests. Great for reading. Material is thick and well stitched. Frame is built for stout. Feet have enlarged 1” caps but I think more support will be needed in sand. Easy pop up and tear down. First time stretching the cover on was tight, as expected, but left it set up a couple days and easy peasy after that with the built in pull straps they provided. Corner pockets for the frame are super thick, double stitched, reinforced vinyl that should never wear through like others I’ve had with just the fabric pockets. Accessory pockets on both sides have Velcro stays. (not sure why) Frame has integrated Velcro straps to hold it folded when stowed. The heavy nylon stuff bag is awesome. Really well built and includes MOLLE loops along one side for attaching to a pack or gear rack. This will attach to my motorcycle gear easily (my intended use). I would certainly recommend and would buy again. Maybe another for a guest.

Solid chair, especially for the money.
Ordered this last minute for a mens back packing trip, mainly because it was one of the few that would make it in time that seemed light enough. I thankfully did not regret it. It's a well made chair, light enough to carry, decently comfortable. Not as comfortable as a full sized chair, but I wasn't expecting it to be. Folding it up and putting it back in the bag was also surprisingly easy. The molle straps on the side of the carry bag were a nice touch. I would definitely recommend if your looking for a good pack packing chair.

Good Chair - No Customer Service
Easy set up - comfortable - compact and lightweight. However, zero customer service! One of the chair's back supports broke (100% my fault - not something I expected the chair to survive). I reached out two different ways to Moon Lence to see if I could purchase components - I used email addresses I found online and on the user guide that came with the chair. No response whatsoever. Beware: If it had been a warranty claim, I believe it would have been ignored as well.

Compact Comfort with a Low Ride: MOON LENCE Chair Review
If you're looking for a compact, lightweight chair that won't weigh down your pack or take up precious trunk space, the MOON LENCE 4th Generation Ultralight Folding Chair is a solid win. This little beast folds down to the size of a loaf of bread and pops open in seconds—ideal for hiking, mountaineering, beach days, or just kicking back by the fire pit. 👍 What I Loved: - Super Compact: Folds down small enough to stash in a backpack or tuck into a corner of your gear bin. - Feather-Light: Weighs next to nothing, so it’s perfect for long treks or minimalist setups. - Quick Setup: The shock-corded frame practically assembles itself, and the fabric slides on easily. - Surprisingly Sturdy: Despite its size, it holds up well—even after multiple uses on uneven terrain. 🤏 Minor Drawback: - Low Profile: If you're on the taller side, you might feel like you're squatting at a toddler tea party. It sits quite low to the ground, which can make getting in and out a bit awkward—especially after a long hike or a few beers around the campfire. 🏕️ Final Thoughts: This chair is a minimalist’s dream and a great addition to any outdoor setup. Just know that if you're over 6 feet tall, you might want to test-drive it before committing—or keep it as your “backup” chair for shorter outings. For everyone else, it’s a sleek, packable throne that punches above its weight.

Lightweight, Sturdy, and Surprisingly Comfortable
This camping chair exceeded my expectations. It’s incredibly lightweight and packs down small, making it perfect for backpacking or travel. Setup is quick once you get the hang of it, and the frame feels sturdy and well-built. Despite its compact size, it’s actually very comfortable to sit in, even for longer periods. The material seems durable and holds up well outdoors, and it’s easy to carry around in the included bag. Overall, this is a great option if you want something portable without sacrificing comfort. Highly recommend for camping, festivals, or any outdoor trips.

Great small camping chair.
A great little chair, very comfortable. Somewhat involved to set up, with lots of (moving) parts. The more parts, the more can break. At around 1kg it’s also not super light or small, but for the price it’s a great chair. Recommended.
