Have not used it to cut, but the aluminium at the ends where they have been cut are very sharp and have not been deburred which is disappointing on a £50 saw as it would take literally a couple of minutes, I have 2 folding saws half this price which have a better production finish.

Sturdy and well designed, folds down nicely and simply. Seems well made, but at £45 I think it's a bit expensive considering a standard good quality bow saw is a little under half that - the only real difference here is the hinge, so I feel like I'm paying £25 for that hinge.The handle bar folds back on itself so as to brace against the cross bar, which I think takes some strain off the hinge itself. The material is quite thick so hopefully it won't break, but especially considering the price I'd have liked the hinge to be metal instead of plastic.

It's the best folding saw I have used ever. Smaller folding saws can be used, but is not that good for large amount of woods to cut. But this one with a 23" blade cut very fast, and is also very light, so perfect for hiking trips to make woods for campfire and can easy be attached outside the backpack. I have smoothed the ends of the alu frame so there is no sharp edges to cut the pack.

Great product and very solid in construction. Came from Germany so took a while but the best things come to those who wait.

Folds easily. Good quality and cuts logs.
