NeoAir XLite NXT

Bought this at the last minute before leaving for a backpacking trip when I found my S2S pad was leaking (again). Lighter than the leaking pad and packs down smaller. The "crinkly" sound of previous generation Thermarest pads is gone. Plenty warm for the trip where nighttime temps dropped into the 30s. Only woke up cold one morning where temps had dropped below freezing (30F inside tent). Inflation via included pump sack works OK, but not the best. Still easier than huffing and puffing. Quality is top notch as expected, will have to use for a while before I can comment on durability. Size is adequate, thickness is plenty comfy.

The earlier version of this mattress was super light BUT it was so crinkly noisy you could wake everyone in the same campground just by rolling over while trying to sleep. But, true to its claims this new "NXT" version is all but silent for me. Way cool! It is comfortable, warm, just excellent and in my opinion worth the premium price.

The first air mattress that holds air for 48 hrs plus. My last 2 that went on me in less than a week each had to be blown up 4-5x a night so I didn’t freeze on the AT,,,, do not buy those super thin ones with some type of thin foil inside eh hem Big Agnes Zoom UL, close to $300 for garbage!!! Thank you Thermarest, I can finally sleep throughout the night without a labor intensive annoying everyone around me POS mattress. This one feels so durable and high quality, is warm and it is shaped so you don’t roll off, the width is outstanding

Great product but terrible customer service for warranties. I’ve had this product for just under a year and my sleeping pad is defective now because it’s leaking at the seam, this seems like it should be a warranty issue, but I have reached out to their warranty department, and I have not heard anything in over a week since I submitted the request. All the other brands have much better customer service. While this product is amazing because of the lack of quality customer service I would not recommend it.

It’s lightweight and easy to inflate. It kept me warm on a cold night. It is a little narrow though so my arms hung off the sides. This was a little uncomfortable, but I guess it’s a trade off given the light weight. Also, it was pretty quiet and a good value for backpacking.

We have owned this particular air mattress for over 6+ years. The functionality of the mattess is perfect. Keeps the cold away from you and is thick enough to be comfortable without compromising the weight. We purchased a new one only because one of ours was left behind on a scout campout by mistake. The other ones are still going strong after 6+ years of regular use and abuse by teenage scouts for monthly campouts and lots of weej long camping trips.

Bought this for my kid’s two week camping trip and she loved it. She is petite so the smaller one worked perfect. If I had to buy it for myself I’d probably get the regular sized one.

Ok, these are definitely the go to for lightweight backpacking pads. Super light, incredible size when packed, super easy to inflate with a bag or manually. So why do I give it 3 stars? We've spent 12 nights on the 2 that we bought and just to state it honestly. They're very narrow and you end up rolling off at night. They're also very loud, despite Thermarest saying these models have the noise significantly reduced. I can't even imagine how loud the older ones were, lol! My son and I constantly wake each other up when rolling over at night on these. I want to be clear that the quality is top notch and they are comfortable. They could be good for the right person, but I am not that person. I assume the person sleeps like a lo without moving at night, isn't sensitive to noise, and values weight.

Habe die Matte als Ersatz füreine alte NeoAir gekauft die nach ca.10 Jahren intensiver Nutzung delaminiert war. Die aktuelle Version ist nochmals ein wenig dicker dass sie leiser als die alte ist habe ich nicht bemerkt, der Unterschied ist vielleicht messbar aber zumindest für mich nicht zu hören hat mich aber in den letzten 400Nächten nicht gestört Für Menschen die häufig mit kleinem/leichtem Gepäck unterwegs sind eine klare Kaufempfehlung . Den einen Stern Abzug gibt es für die Umsetzung der "lebenslangen" Garantie des Herstellers.

I sleep like a baby every time my body touches this mattress in my outdoor adventures! I use a mini electric pump to inflate this thing but always need to blow it with my mouth for the „last extra miles“. With electric pump it can never achieve its fullest potential, which remains a big question mark for me.

I was a little sceptical given the cost, but having previously had the old foam Thermarest, I decided to give it a go. What first struck me was how compact it was when stored and the subsequent thickness when inflated. This meant that it is both very comfortable (if a little narrow) and warm. I am very happy I took the plunge and was not put off by the price.

Super comfy. Easy to inflate and deflate. Super small and light when packed away.
