I really wanted to love these . They are natural, plant based and coloured with things like carrot and apple..i thought brilliant, no hortible additives for little ones . The powder was dry and clumped together, it was actually solid in 3 of the tubs. Dispite putting it through a sieve to add to the icing sugar there are still little soild lumps in the icing . The colours are not vibrant making these very expensive because ive used pretty much all of the powders on one cake . Ive also bought sprinkles from the same company that were shown to be bright vibrant colours but arrived as pastel and pale. Wont shop with this company again

Negative Point: only the black color came full, the other colors came below the middle and they are already small, for a large project I would have to buy three times as many. Positive Point: for what I need it for, it works very well, the colors are bright, vibrant and beautiful, 1000 points for painting. I would probably buy it again because it meets my needs. That's why I'll give it 4 stars.

I loved these little pots of colour, the fact that they were natural colours really impressed me. They arrived quickly and looked fab. We made a 'rainbow' cake with them, using half the amount of a normal cake mixture for each colour. They didn't dissolve so well in the mixture and were very muted, so much so that we couldn't even tell a couple of the 'colours' apart. However, the cake did look great when put together, we used synthetic colours for the icing and when the cake was cut it did look lovely through the layers.

I recently tried the edible powder colours for food, and I have mixed feelings about them. On the plus side, they are incredibly easy to use and tasteless, which makes them a great choice for colouring buttercream without altering the flavour. This is definitely a big plus when you're aiming for a delicious bakes! However, I was disappointed with the vibrancy of the colours. I found that they tended to be quite dull, lacking the brightness I was hoping for in my creations. Additionally, when I attempted to mix different colours together to achieve a desired shade, it just didn’t work out as I had expected. Overall, while the convenience and tastelessness of these edible powder colours are great, the lack of vibrant colours and mixing options makes me hesitant to recommend them. Personally, I wouldn’t buy them again, as I prefer more vivid colour options for my baking projects.

I made raspberry and pistachio macarons recently. Raspberry white chocolate ganache filling with pistachio biscuit. These little powders were exactly what I needed to get bright, candy-like colours in my bake. The red and pink combined added to the raspberry puree resulted in a lovely deep, jewel-toned colour to the finished ganache. And a little sprinkle of the yellow powder in the biscuits brightened them up a lot after my ground pistachios turned out duller in colour than I wanted. The powders also mix in really well and don't clump.

I bought these to use for my daughter’s 1st birthday rainbow cake; opting for natural colours as she’s so young. I planned on making a 6 layered rainbow cake (which I’m sure most people buying this product will be intending to use it for) and I’m devastated that they’ve come out so poorly. Hardly any variation of colour. It’s the day before her birthday and her cake will just be 6 uncoloured tiers hardly the fun rainbow I had in mind.

Ho comprato questo set perché necessitavo del colore rosso. Il colore ottenuto è un rosa tenue, non è assolutamente un rosso, non è diventato rosso nemmeno dopo aver messo l’intero contenuto della confezione.

Do not buy this for macarons. It simply does not work since it is impossible to assess the amount needed and the exact color. It also changes color during baking.
