Trouser length is always at maximum length so you have to adjust yourself.Second ReviewHaving washed, adjusted and used these trousers for a few weeks now, I believe I can now give a more useful review of these trousers to someone looking to purchase them.GOOD POINTSThe cut is generous, providing room for flex.Tasks involving prolonged stretching and bending are fine, material keeps its shape well. The sides and back pocket are deep and spacious enough to hold items and hand. The trousers give a professional look with workware durability. The shoe style cut finish is a good size to drop over shoes, boots or trainers.I find the good points and the cost of these trousers make them VFM.BAD POINTSThe size I ordered was a 40W x 33L. The size that came measured 42W x 36LAfter reading other reviews, this seems to be commonplace. To keep the overall cost of the trouser as low as possible, I decided to make the alterations myself.I measured and cut 2" off each leg then used iron-on adhesive double-sided fabric tape to create a 1" seam for both legs. The results were positive.I was unable to do anything about the waist other than create an extra hole in my belt. The result being the trouser having loose material around the front and back sometimes creating folds.RECOMMENDPurchase a size smaller than what you require.Be prepared to have the legs taken up.

Looks more expensive that they are but beware of the static
You could be forgiven for thinking that these trousers are one half of a mid range two piece suit (or one third of a three piece suit, not that any normal people other than waiters and snooker players wear waistcoats). They look smart and hang nicely with a distinctive pleat that makes them looked sharp. You can wash them in the washing machine and put them in your Corby Trouser Press and they look as good as new each time. I am sure you can iron them too but a Corby is my press of choice having one already in situ when I purchased my semi detached dwelling from an elderly gentleman who left it behind. And at this price, quite frankly it doesn't matter if they wear though quickly. I do not imagine they will as they are made of polyester. You just need to be careful of latent static electricity as you can get a spark when you touch something like a lift button or a metallic door handle.

Poor fit, very clingy
These took quite a while to arrive (about 2 weeks), and I have to say I probably could've done better if I'd gone to Primark. The fabric is very clingy/static, and the sizing is a bit crazy. In almost all brands of trousers a 36 long fits me -- my inside leg is somewhere between 33 and 34 inches. That's the size I ordered for these, and while the waist is rather tight, the legs are crazy long. The back hem on the legs drags on the ground and keeps going under my shoe as I walk; my shoes are virtually hidden from sight, and the bagginess at the bottom of the leg is awkward and unsightly. I'm not sure who they're making these for -- a Giacometti statue perhaps?! The experience of wearing them has improved since I had them taken up a couple of inches, but the clinginess and static is still annoying. They're kept in the "when there's nothing else clean" section of my wardrobe now!

Good quality trousers.
Slightly longer than expected but nonetheless good quality fabric and well sewn. Happy with this product for a competitive price.

No in betweens
To begin with, These are beautiful pants. However, the first size ordered ran very small, according to other pants sizes. Ordered the next size up and it was so baggy in the seat that they looked like clown pants.Sadly, rather than going to the trouble and expense of returning them in a country that I'm not familiar with, I'm donating them to a charity store that is adjacent to my local Salvation Army.

Well made but a terrible fit
Strongly constructed from good quality material but very baggy, at least in the short leg sizes.I wanted them for working trousers so a bit of looseness isn't too much of a problem. But I wouldn't want to wear them in a semi formal situation. The waistband is rather high which produces a 'droopy drawers' look. I suspect there is one basic design, for long legs, and the short leg sizes simply have reduced leg lengths without any reduction in the waist height measurement.

Not good, even for cheap polyester trousers
Of course, you shouldn't expect much from a pair of inexpensive polyester trousers, but these failed even to live up to my modest expectations: they look and feel unbelievably cheap & tacky. Using words like quality/formal/smart to describe them is a joke. The only positive thing I can say is that the sizing is accurate: they fit as expected.

who I have dealt with for years were better than I expected
These trousers from Chum's, who I have dealt with for years were better than I expected. I wanted a 32" leg but curiously, no where in the whole world can one get a 32" inside leg!! However, I got the 31" leg and was very pleased to find that it fitted perfectly. Maybe I have shrunk over the years? I hate trousers which are trailing on the ground or swinging around my ankles. The material of these trousers seems quite strong and soft and having washed them twice, there is no problem with shrinkage or any other material deformation. Very good value for money.
