My older car was having battery trouble. (it turns out the "new battery was bad). Anyway this wonderful charger kept my battery charged fully so I could get the battery replaced. It's small and will keep a battery charged.

He does all that it says it ,, Plus, it has a fan inside that also kicks on when needed which it didn't even advertise and is a very helpful useful benefit which we much appreciate it being included.

I wish this model would have had a connect disconnect a foot away from the battery. It becomes a pain to connect and disconnecting it to the battery on smaller equipment with minimal space..

Product did not work at all. Put in on a known good battery for several hours that was at 70% charge initially. The state of charge actually went down a little bit. Returned for a refund.

It works ok as charger..not sure if it came with a defect,would have sent back but for 15 $ and I needed a second charger,well 6 amps overnight got the lawnmower up, did not fix any cells, does not, i repeat "not" desulfate" batteries, too weak for that.. I reccomend a good 70$ or so charger to try that.. like 30 amp or better.. cheers!

Used it on both a Yamaha scooter battery and a 12v car battery. Worked well on both. Love the display.

The title really covers all of it. This is a small and handy little charger. It’s size makes it ideal for both, not taking up bench space, and also being put away when not in use (or if permanent mounting into a trailer battery or something, small is great)! The 6 A used to seem small to me, however - personally having a 40/200A charger, I can say that most car batteries charge below 20A all the time, and that it doesn’t take even twice the time VS using that big charger. I’d also rather have the small real estate and small price that goes along with it!I’m not a fan of this style of clamp, however - they are really good at not shorting out - and these ones in particular have a very strong clamping force, which is great.The one real negative I can say about it - and it’s not alone in this category - it causes substantial FM radio interference. Even when not charging it wrecks a “poor” radio station, and when it’s charging it gets even worse. It also has no CSA or UL ratings on it.The cord length is nice at 32” for the cord and 20” for the cables. I also like the selector for motorcycle vs AGM vs car (and repair). At 6 amps, I’m not super worried about my motorcycle battery, but I do feel happy to have it set there.

This is slightly cheaper than the name brand ones that offer the same features.I got this battery tender to permanently install in the engine bay of my truck. As I mostly catch a motor coach to work, and I live within biking distance of a grocery store, I can go weeks without using my truck. I've had to boost my truck more times than I care to think. This is a simple fix for a simple problem.This is easy to use. I installed it to the battery, plugged it in and it automatically recognized that it was a 12v battery and immediately started charging/repairing it. This is perfect, as I just want to set it and forget it, and just unplug my truck when I need to use it.The interface/screen is pretty easy and straight forward. It shows the current or voltage, the mode and charging status. That's all you really need to know.The tender also has a reverse polarity protection, as well as a whole host of other protections from issues that may come up from battery tending.It comes with just alligator clips for boosting/temp connections. I was hoping it would come with rings, but I will just cut the cable and crimp on some rings. This will be perfect for me as I'm going to use this to charge my quad battery first with the clips, then install it in my truck.I'm happy with this. It's easy to use, simple to install and does what I need it to do.
