I had an ammonia spike in my koi pond, dead leaves decomposing in the filter. I bought 10kg of this put it on the supplied bag tied it to the side of the pond and dropped it in. 3 days later, ammonia back to normal. Very good product and highly recommended.

These are not chunks as described, but tiny chips. The net bag provided doesn't even hold the bits in. I had to get a bag with smaller holes.

We have had a lot of trouble with ammonia in the water and using the Koi Care Zeolite has really helped to reduce it. We will know more once the winter is over and the fish will become more active. Do follow the instructions as you have to rinse the chipping's well before putting them into the filter as the water will be very murky if you don't.
